21.01.2022 I have discovered that promoting a book is much harder than writing it! I also realise that I have been focussing on one important aspect of it,ie the fourth di...mension. I have forgotten to promote the fact that if you have absolutely no interest in other dimensions which I imagine would apply to most readers,you will still enjoy this book. I gave the manuscript to all sorts of people to read. Not all of them were friends and none of them had the slightest bit ofinterest in other dimensions.all of them read it and all gave positive feedback. Most said they loved it and encouraged me to self publish. I seem to have forgotten the simple fact that it is just a great easy to read sort book. A great companion on a rainy day . If you like reading but are not into reading long novels,"The Tatter of Life" is for you . If you like unusual stories, humour,adventures and just life in general then you will love "The Tatter of Life" . See more

19.01.2022 Facebook kindly reminds me that you haven't heard form me in a while and I almost panic. I feel as though you will all desert me,before we have even truly communicated. Publishing has been a steep learning curve that has almost led me away from writing the way I used to. I am no literary scholar. Writing is how I spend time exploring the core of my true existence..whatever that means. I never dreamt of publishing ...or at least I never dreamt it would actually happen. Now I s...ee my little book filled with memories of experiences that were never shared,on bedside tables, on top of back packs and on desks. The first time I saw this , wanted to take it . It was a terrifying yet wonderful feeling as I realised that this was no longer "my" book. I no longer had any control over it. "The Tatter of Life" had it's own life and it's future was in it's owners hands. I wish it well! See more

18.01.2022 If I was better at marketing I would have promoted TheTatter of Life as a great Mothers Day present . It s not late now but Ill tell you anyway It may be about the fourth dimension but it is also a real account of everyday mothers overcoming fears, and adversity as well as just living and loving life. It tells of a mothers struggle in the 50s to help her daughter to overcome the label of cripple . It tells of a young mothers struggle to live with a disability. It t...ells the story of a single mother who strives to find her real self and goes on trip to India that gives her more than she could ever bargain for. It s a great book just to simply read and enjoy! A bit late now to suggest it as a Mothers Day gift but its never to late to buy a great book that is different! 18.01.2022 Time sped by with little time to write! "The Tatter of Life" and that incredible 4th dimension took me on unexpected journeys. First old friends from the memoir stepped back into my life sharing stories and creating new ones.Lots of laughs and love was shared...and still is. Incredibly a friend gave me a very generous birthday gift of air fare to India to re visit Washi, a place I wrote about in the book.. In disbelief I held onto the vouchers until they had almost expired and then I just randomly chose a time to fly. I thought it was random but then "random" ceases to exist when you have your connection to this 4th dimension. The dates I chose to arrive and leave meant I was there to meet up with people from my first visit and even tell the story I had left untold .

14.01.2022 I have been going through old notes and scraps of writing and found this.I wrote it when I began writing "The Tatter of lIfe" I want to share it. Its a long post but please read it to the end..... "At long last I sit with pen in hand about to embark on a long awaited project. I wonder where this pen will take me as these words fly onto the page. Despite all my ideas , plans and mental manoevres,ultimately,if Iam honest or objective,it is not these civilised tools that shap...e writing or my life. It is something else. Call it what you will- fate,destiny or the universe. It is this that shapes my life. I dislike the terms,"fate "or "destiny " to describe this mysterious force because it sems to suggest some kind of single final outcome and life is certainly more than that.The most ineresting parts of it are made up of a twisting path of events that seem to be so disjointed and unrelated, until a bigger picture of the chapters of life are revealed. When I was much younger people used to tell me to write a book because my life was filled with so much drama and bizarre events.I probably should have written one back then. It would have been much simpler to write and perhaps I could have sold millions of copies because so many readers seem to love drama. yes, it would have been a sensational ,"Days of Our Lives" epic. Now decades later I am driven to write a story that contains many different layers that perhaps are not as popular,but it has to be written. I don't say this because I am special because I am not, nor because my life is successful because if we if the scale so often used to measure success is applied, it fails. I say it has to be written because there is a world of miracles and absolute magic that is driven by a powerful but gentle force that surrounds us,waiting for us to discover it and the sooner the better.In saying that I am glad that now the time is right to write, because "now" involves an intricate lacework of drama,comedy,miracles,travel,motherhood and childhood,self realisation,battles and at last inner freedom and peace.At first I tried to make the story fictional by detaching myself from it and writing in the third person. Now I feel I need to tell it how it is. It is said that "truth is stranger than fiction" and as unbelievable as this memoir sound it is the absolute truth. I hope you enjoy it .The real story is not what the author writes , Instead it lies in the hands of the reader" with love to you all

14.01.2022 I used to dream about having a book launch at the iconic book store, Gleebooks. Last Sunday it came true and it felt amazing! I remembered my speech,everyone listened,I sold books and the book store will have me back! Thank you so much to everyone that came along !
