03.01.2022 Post 18: Vithyavathi Karthigesu is the founder, Principal, and Dance Teacher of the Temple of Fine Arts - Adelaide which was established in 2012. Originally fr...om Malaysia, Vithya is an accomplished Barathanatyam and Odissi Dancer. She has performed widely with the Temple of Fine Arts International in Malaysia, Singapore, and India and she has also performed in many local events such as OzAsia and Fringe. Every year the Temple of Fine Arts Adelaide has its in-house event, showcasing all the students in various Indian classical and Semi-classical dances. Vithya supports by presenting a part of the Shankarabaranam Pallavi which is in an Odissi Classical Dance form, focusing on the Chouka and Thribhangi. This dance was choreographed by the legendary Guru Kulucharan Mahopatra. Shruthi Adelaide: In our commitment towards engaging local talents and supporting our society and community in all possible ways we at Shruthi are happy to post a series of short videos from various local and international artists.
