Ideally the right candidate will transition to Full Time when restrictions ease further. About the Venue: The Ten Saints is a small bar located in Croydon in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We are a fun and informal venue knocking out great cocktails with an extensive range of spirits and some cracking beers and wines. We aim to provide a high level of service in an intimate and inclusive environment. Roles and Responsibilities: -Inventory control and stock movement -Opening and closing the bar including end of day reconciliation -Keeping beverage costs within desired targets -Be a brand ambassador by actively demonstrating our core values and vision -Bartending -Floor Management -Working nights and weekends -Hosting The ideal candidate will have: -3+ Years experience in hospitality with floor and bar experience -Previous management or supervisory experience -Ability to work in a faced paced environment -A proactive nature and great communication skills -A working knowledge of cocktails and at least a basic knowledge of spirits -Willingness to work with a small professional team to a high standard -Ability to interact with customers to provide an enjoyable and personable experience -A passion to learn and expand their skillset to contribute to the venue -An overall cheerful and hardworking nature with a sense of humour -The ability to stand for long periods of time and occasionally lift heavy items Previous leadership experience will be looked upon favourably -Knowledge of current beverage and cocktails trends is a plus -Great organisational skills with a high attention to detail The successful applicant can expect: -Professional Development with free external and internal training provided -Contribution to venue cocktail menus -Work trips to distilleries, breweries and vineyards -Generous staff discounts -Joining a fun, creative and professional working culture * All applicants MUST have a valid Victorian RSA Salary Negotiable for the right candidate inline with industry award rates.
