25.01.2022 Yesterday before all the rain there was time to practice our formation flying for the fly pasts on Armistice Day.
24.01.2022 Early morning on the centenary of ANZAC Day. Glorious weather and an early start as we join in the services of a number of RSLs and Remembrance Associations. Lest we forget. Thank you to Mark Greenmantle for the fantastic photos. https://www.facebook.com/GreenmantleStudios
24.01.2022 ANZAC Day 2019. Another memorable day participating in memorial services around the Sunshine Coast. The recent rainy weather held off as if in respect for the day and crowds seemed very good at all the venues. Our thanks to Steve Boyd and Wirraway MFW again for joining us. Lest we forget.
24.01.2022 The NAG and the Snifter were invited to be part of Boeings Centenary Celebration at RAAF Amberley on the 16th July 2016. We were representing Boeings vintage aircraft heritage and it was a great day as all the pilots have flown a variety of Boeing aircraft in their careers. We greatly appreciate Boeing Australia requesting and sponsoring our participation. Congratulations on a remarkable first century of leading the course of aviation.
24.01.2022 This video was produced by Dave Kingshott of Pacific Dakota Restorations . It shows Caboolture Airfields warbirds participation in local commemoration ceremonies. Dave is also Chief Engineer of Complete Aircraft Care and maintains these classic aircraft. https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=Y7vAmrJIh3o
23.01.2022 Great photos by Mike Jorgensen of the NAG as she participated in a Warbird Academy Australia flying day. This is the first photo of the Tiger Moth, Winjeel and SNJ together. It is interesting to note the different angles of attack needed by the heavier aircraft to fly slow enough to formate on the Tiger. Mike and Mark Greenmantle of https://www.facebook.com/AerialProPhoto planned and organised the photos so if you enjoy great aviation photography search for their Facebook page and you wont be disappointed.
22.01.2022 A big weekend at Caboolture coming up. The NAG will be flying for the Warbird Academy Australia and participating in the TAVAS Great Vintage Fly In. There will be a remarkablue collection of aircraft from WW1 and WW2 on display both days. Dont miss it!! On Sunday we will be practicing with the Wirraway for the formation fly pasts at a number of local RSLs to commemorate ANZAC Day. Lest we forget.
20.01.2022 Last weekend these guys asked for a photo shoot to promote their annual charity ride. Of course were happy to assist for such a good cause and particularly when it involves some classic machines to admire. We wish them all the best with their ride.
20.01.2022 The Australian Warbird Association held a formation flying clinic in Toowoomba over the 30/31 July weekend. The weather was perfect and we were very well looked after by our friends at Aerotech and the Darling Downs Aero Club.

18.01.2022 Here is Mark Greenmantle and some of his photos with the "NAG". Fantastic! It is always fun to work with Mark and we enjoy and appreciate his professional images. Check his work on his pages https://www.facebook.com/greenmantle and https://www.facebook.com/Vix4Vets?fref=ts
17.01.2022 A photo from the weekend at Kingaroy. Visit their website and look at all the photos from the successful gathering of AWAL members and their aircraft.
17.01.2022 ANZAC Day 2018. The aircraft again participated in the commemorative services of a number of RSLs and Commemorative Associations in the northern Brisbane and Sunshine Coast area. This photo was taken by Chief Engineer Dave Kingshott of Complete Aircraft Care as the dawn broke over Caboolture airfield. Dave is always on hand to ensure his aircraft get underway to the services.

13.01.2022 http://thetexan.com.au/looking-back-on-2018 We are already well into 2019 so we looked back on 2018. To see where we were and what we did check out the link above. This year will hopefully be as busy.
12.01.2022 The SNJ has now come into the hangar for her annual inspection. Outside having a clean before inspection work tomorrow. On other work Speedy has been busy preparing a Extra 300 cowl repair.
12.01.2022 Saturday 15th August was the 75th anniversary of Victory in The Pacific Day. Pine Rivers RSL invited us to be part of their commemorative service which is always appreciated. After the fly past, in company with Steve Boyd in Wirraway VH-MFW, we flew along the coast to Noosa Heads and then inland to show the flag over the rural communities on this important day. Pine Rivers had veterans of the war in the Pacific who were particularly moved to see aircraft from that era. Our thanks to these veterans and their comrades for their service.
11.01.2022 A big day this weekend at Caboolture Airfield.
10.01.2022 With the centenary of ANZAC Day fast approaching, we are honoured to be providing fly pasts to a number of RSLs and Remembrance Associations in the north Brisbane and Sunshine Coast areas (subject to CASA approval). It is a privilege to participate in the services and we thank them for the opportunity. Lest we forget.
10.01.2022 Yesterday was a day of formation practice with the Wirraway and Troy Smith in his T34. Its important to keep current and refine the skills required. And dont forget the camaraderie.......
09.01.2022 ANZAC Day 2015. The video shows the formation flying with Steve Boyd in Wirraway A20-695 during our flypasts last year in the Sunshine Coast area. We participated in a number of ceremonies again this year. Lest we forget.
08.01.2022 The weekend of the 7-8th January was the Great Eastern Fly In which we attend every year. A fantastic event strongly supported by the warbird community and excellently run by the team at Evans Head; a beautiful spot to hold such a gathereing. Although the weather proved challenging on Saturday the NAG participated in the flying display, leading a three ship formation (Alex von Mengersen in his Nanchang and Troy Smith in a T34) before joining with two Winjeels and a CT4 (Ed Field, Mark Awad and Phil Munro) for a six ship fly past. The weather on Sunday was excellent which was a just reward for the organizers. See you there next year!!
08.01.2022 More photos of the WAA flying day including a selfie of Mike Jorgensen in the T34.
08.01.2022 Still doing the job they were built to do!
07.01.2022 Flying In A Warbird
02.01.2022 Time for the annual service and inspection before ANZAC Day. A lot of panels have to come off so the engineers can inspect all the parts and systems for integrity. Necessary work to keep the aircraft in top condition.
01.01.2022 Next week 19-20 September the Australian Warbird Association is holding a weekend of formation flying at Kingaroy and 20 to 25 warbirds are attending. Should be a spectacular event so come along if you want to see these great aircraft.
