15.01.2022 In the 70's and 80's Theatre on Chester entered One Act Play Festivals and always came away with a prize. In 1977 we won "Best Play" and "Best Set Design" for "Albert's Bridge" by Tom Stoppard directed by Phil Dale. Here are the delighted cast and crew: David White, David Anderson, Herb Curtis, Phil Dale, Mary Milton, Christine Jenkin, Barbara Goodman, Peter Fowler, Dennis Went.

08.01.2022 60 years ago, we produced "A Question of Fact"by Wynyard Browne, directed by Ina Greentree. It was adjudicated by one May Hollinworth and here is her rather condescending report - it was, however "a quality programme in excellent taste". Do read for a small laugh!

04.01.2022 In our first weekend of performances, five audiences were delighted to be back in a theatre: thank you for an excellent night. my first trip back to the theatre- thank you Chester st. Delighted to be back!. Poignant, beautiful performance . Loved being here, loved the show. Didn’t realise how much I missed good theatre. This was a beautiful gift, thank you !.
