16.01.2022 Parents Group - 'Raising Au-some Kids' The Therapy Rooms are planning to run monthly groups for parents of primary school aged children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The groups will be facilitated by Dr Donna Mullaney (Clinical Psychologist) who has significant experience of autism assessment & diagnosis and of working therapeutically with children and families post diagnosis. ... Dr Donna Mullaney understands that parenting children with autism comes with a unique set of experiences and challenges. The groups will aim to bring parents together in a facilitated environment to provide emotional and informational autism support. Dr Donna Mullaney hopes to share informarion, resources, advice and skills for supporting parents with some of the difficulties and challenges they are encountering. 07.01.2022 Following today’s announcement of further restrictions, Greg Hunt, Federal Minister for Health, has announced that Victorians with a Mental Health Care Plan will be eligible for an additional 10 sessions. This will begin on Friday August 7 and will require a GP Review of your MHCP These additional sessions will apply until March 31, 2021.

06.01.2022 The Therapy Rooms are planning to offer social groups for neuro-diverse girls. This is a new and exciting opportunity. The group(s) will be for AU-some girls on the autism spectrum and/or girls with ADD-itude. The group(s) will run on a weekday evening and will be supported by our Clinical Psychologists who are experienced in working therapeutically with neurodiverse young people. ... The groups will provide an opportunity to meet like-minded peers in a safe and relaxed environment; share strengths, passions or interests. We are seeking expressions of interest at this stage. Ideally, we will offer groups in age ranges such as 13-18yrs & 19-25years. 05.01.2022 As we approach our 1st birthday, and celebrate 12 months of The Therapy Rooms (Seaford) providing clinical psychology services to the local community, we are pleased to launch our Facebook page. Dr Zoe Taylor, Dr Donna Mullaney, Dr Annette Ostermeyer and Dr Thane Camwell are highly experienced clinical psychologists having worked in senior roles for a number of years. After several years of practicing at different clinics on the Mornington Penninsula, we are thrilled to join... together as the Therapy Rooms.
