22.01.2022 Happy Monday I have just started to use video in my business as I know how important it is to make a authentic connections with people.... I have always held back with it because it made me feel uncomfortable and worried people would judge me ... but I realised the only way to grow is to step outside your comfort zone.. Right?? 21.01.2022 Lets talk the C word. and no not the one you were thinking!! If I was asked what one strategy that could make a massive difference to your marketing efforts it would be CONSISTENCY. So how do you take your ideal customer from being aware to recognising and remembering you, to liking and trusting you?... There are four areas you need to have consistency in: 1. VISUAL IDENTITY - Consistency in your visual identity helps create a memorable brand and builds brand awareness. Do you have brand guidelines? What is your look and feel? Are your colours, fonts and imagery consistent? Is your branding consistent across all your marketing platforms? 2. MESSAGING - The average person needs to see a marketing message seven times before it makes an impression. So, your messaging needs to be consistent and clear across all marketing channels or you risk confusing people. What are you offering and who is it for? Keep it simple and say it over and over again! 3. BRAND VOICE - Having a distinct authentic voice helps to humanize your brand, and in turn, makes it easier for people to relate to, and connect with you. 4. CONTENT SCHEDULE - You need to show up consistently with quality content. This will get you in front of more eyeballs and helps builds up your authority in your niche. When you post consistently, the algorithms will favor your posts and more people will see them. Youll see increased engagement. and people will expect and look forward to your content. Remember... this is not a quick fix strategy. It takes time and effort..... but done right and you will reap the rewards long term:) See more

07.01.2022 Im reading Daring Greatly by @brenebrown at the moment, an amazing book about how the courage to be vulnerable transforms the way we live, love, parent, and lead. It covers many things including the common myth that vulnerability is a weakness, when in fact the opposite is true. To share your weakness is to make yourself vulnerable; to make yourself vulnerable is to show your strength. Sometimes I get stuck in a negative mindset and I find myself looking for reason...s why I cant do something, its not perfect enough, the timings not right, what will people think of me... ??? Anyone in the same boat??? So this great quote from the book really resonated with me (and hopefully you too...) "When we spend our lives waiting until were perfect or bulletproof before we walk into the arena, we ultimately sacrifice relationships and opportunities that may not be recoverable, we squander our precious time, and we turn our backs on our gifts, those unique contributions that only we can make." Has anyone read this book? I highly recommend it! See more
