24.01.2022 This is the truth!! Do you agree?
23.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE BRONZE program -6 months to mastering the fundamental lifts. Being a new mum I was finding it hard to get out for runs like I used to enjoy & also feeling weaker and less fit than I used to. This program was recommended to me by another mum & it has been a perfect solution for me as I can go and workout when my baby sleeps & be close by if he wakes, or on a good day , with him playing nearby. ... I’ve loved how easy I can fit the program in no matter what is going on in family life., as I can do it all in my lounge room. I love challenging myself each week with different workouts. My biggest achievement would be the increase in fitness. I’m in a dress size smaller than pre pregnancy, & 5kg lighter. To me feeling fit, enjoying how it feels playing & running after my son as long as he wants is something I love & proud of. Thank you sarah for this amazing program. I am really grateful for how supportive you are & being able to achieve all this while it fitting into family life. I absolutely love this program. Laura, VIC
22.01.2022 Your body is not ruined, you are a goddamn tiger that earned her stripes
18.01.2022 We get so caught up in wanting to have all the answers, searching for more information, scrolling social media for that ‘thing’ we are seeking... Often YOU know the true answer, you just haven’t discovered it, but have faith & you will discover it . This is when the magic happens. On the coaching calls I have with my clients I don’t tell them what they should do (other than the 3 workouts & macro targets) I help them discover the real reasons they cannot make progress,... the real reasons behind the negative mindset & self talk. The real reason they self sabotage themselves, or give up or seek a quick fix. We discover what’s REALLY holding them back... Sometimes just saying it out loud to someone else creates a breakthrough that’s needed & it leads to more action & in turn more results I’ve had two powerful conversations this week and the result has been just that. I am so grateful to be able to help these mums find their PASSION again, It’s not easy having these conversations but if it were easy, it wouldn’t promote change.
18.01.2022 Healthy living isn’t always about eating less. If you like food as much as I do & you don’t want to restrict food? Guess what! You don’t have to... ... What’s awesome is... you can still reach your goals. BALANCE is key. With practise, willingness & determination you can build a strong, lean body & eat food you love. There is a way. However it’s not quick or easy. It requires patience & time. The best part is that it’s maintainable! It’s a lifestyle that works... you are what you repeatedly do, so if you have a look at your current situation...is what you’re doing helping or hindering your goals? My diet consists a lot of fruit, dairy, seafood, grass fed meat, chicken, eggs and the occasional wine, chocolate & Icecream. It’s not perfect, but it’s perfect for right now & Im happy with my progress in the gym Keep it simple, follow a proper training plan & build a body that you LOVE
18.01.2022 Keep it simple. Eat real food, If it’s too complicated it’s not sustainable. Focus on small gradual changes over time & 1-2 years you will look back & be proud of your steady progress. It all depends on your starting point of course. This gut healing soup was amazing & you can use whatever veg you have in the fridge (or garden). ... Carrots, potato, hydrolysed collagen or grass fed organic gelatine, potato, gf pasta, stock, onion, garlic & cheese to serve. Soup for the soul
18.01.2022 Dinner. Going on from my stories about making things easy, enjoyable & effortless. Local snapper, organic boiled potatoes, carrots, tomato & bocconcini. I cooked the fish in butter, garlic & salt. Was amazing!! All kids love fish, I try to have it weekly ... Simple cooking with fresh, local food is the best.
16.01.2022 Getting outdoors & exercising really does wonders
15.01.2022 Be courageous and be vulnerable & you will be able to achieve anything
15.01.2022 Fried Rice in 20 mins! Aussie bacon Minced garlic Minced Ginger ... 6 scrambled eggs Tomato Beans Mushrooms Basmati rice Tamari Fresh lime I made heaps and it will be dinner and lunch for the next few days Finished with red hot sauce.
14.01.2022 Perspective. I spoke with a friend today about how our perspective can hinder our progress. As a new yoga instructor she said that she compares herself to others and lacks confidence. It made me think & reminded me of when I used to feel the same way. ... Comparison really is the killer of joy. I said I like to think of it as wearing the blinkers they put on horses to keep them from looking sideways. Imagine that your goal is in front of you & you will keep looking forward, knowing the distractions, opinions are there but you are able to block it out & continue on your path. Two people may be given the same situation, but a simple shift in perspective will be the difference in the behaviour, feeling, action & outcome. Instead of comparing, try and feel empathy towards that person. Feeling genuinely happy for them can eliminate the need to compare. This is what I have learnt to do & it has really helped with my overall well-being we all want happiness & the answer to finding it is within, not by wishing we had something else
14.01.2022 Mexican is probably one of favourites! Deconstructed chicken taco bowl. This was really quick & last minute, do you ever not know what you’re cooking u til you start? I got chicken out to defrost but didn’t know how I was going to use it! The chicken was pre cut, which is a great time saver. I used onion, garlic, paprika, herbamere salt, ground coriander, cumin, sugar, oregano & capsicum. Then topped with Greek yogurt, salad, cheese & jalapeños. Quick, healthy, tasty
12.01.2022 Do you ever not do something because you are worried of being judged? Maybe you’re scared of going to that group fitness class or going to the gym because you are afraid of what others may think. You are wanting to be liked by everyone, so you do what pleases others by sacrificing your own goals & dreams. ... Start doing more of what lights you up without the burden of other people’s judgment: Let people judge. It’s only a reflection on them if they do & half the time we just assume that people will judge us, and it could be the last thing on their mind! Ask yourself what it is you fear about their opinion. & what is more important to you, what others say or you achieving your hopes & dreams? Less negative thinking & more action.

09.01.2022 The Thrive Project Member So grateful for the community of mums wanting improve their health & wellbeing
09.01.2022 I had a realisation this week. I created the thrive project over 2 years ago. I had a vision for a movement. Something to create empowerment for women & mums to have the ability to increase their overall wellbeing in a sustainable way. ... This is NOT just a weight loss program... it’s about creating positive changes. Anyone can ‘lose weight’, there are countless options for that. This is about building a strong body with efficient & effective workouts. It’s about building healthy habits that make healthy living seem effortless & enjoyable. It’s about growth. HOW? By learning new skills, daily work on mindset & practise, practise, practise. It’s NOT a program where I say eat this, do that. It’s about creating a healthy balance that works for you & your lifestyle. You are the only one that can figure out what works. I have realised.... the women who are drawn to me are those who want to BE better, those who love personal development as much as I do. Women who see opportunities when others see ‘failure’. Those who want to thrive in all areas of their life, regardless of what life throws at them. So what do I do? I simply provide the TOOLS to help keep them motivated & accountable which means less procrastination & more action. Everyday I’m inspired by these amazingly strong women & mums. & it’s the reminder why I love this so much. #support #community #growth #sustainableliving #health #wellbeing #strength
08.01.2022 I’m on a mission to work on my handstands!! A fair way off but I’ll get There!! Strength training is my preferred training method. However if you’re just starting out, or don’t have access to a gym, my new bodyweight program is convenient and fun! Well I think so anyway! Lots of bodyweight workouts, Pilates, mobility... plus a skills program to help you do more pushups, do a handstand, pull ups etc. ... This is a workout program that is combined with coaching. Check ins, group monthly calls & accountability. It’s not the information that will give you results, it’s putting in the work every. single. Day. If you would like to trial it for 2 weeks, you can for $1. If you love it, which you will thereafter it’s a 3 month program and only $1.6 a day! less than a cup of coffee!
08.01.2022 I believe that you can build a strong body with less effort. Let me explain! . Of course it’s all a matter of perspective. . When you train, it’s important to put in effort to get the most out of that session. Slightly progressing in your workouts, when strength training will give you AMAZING results over time. Meaning you will build strength & muscle with less injuries. Strength training builds a strong, feminine physique which is sustainable over time. (I take the... hard work out of this by building you a program -you just need to show up for it ) . When I mean with little effort, I mean it doesn’t have to be challenging overall, the process C A N feel effortless & enjoyable. You can build a strong & athletic body and still enjoy life!! Eat food you love, still socialise, have a wine, eat some chocolate. It’s all a matter of BALANCE. . As long as your body is getting the right balance of macronutrients (roughly) protein (is key for satiety), fats & carbs. . Also... getting adequate micronutrients: the minerals & vitamins. Sleep & stress is also a huge factor that is under looked . Getting the basics right to support your training & goals. Building The right balance of these factors is a matter of developing supportive habits. Then you can refine and adapt as you progress. . ‘When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change’ a favourite quote Seeing food as fuel to give you energy so you can workout, and recover efficiently without viewing it as punishment, or comfort or whatever you may veiw food it as. It makes the difference in being able to be consistent or whether you follow the stop/start approach that doesn’t work long term. So to sum it up, doing less over a longer period of time is SUSTAINABLE, doing to much over a short time causes too much stress & not sustainable as it doesn’t focus on changing habits.
07.01.2022 The girls have gymnastics tonight, which means we don’t get home until 6pm. So dinner needs to be something quick! I made these today and they are ready to go straight into the oven, and I popped half in the freezer for next week. I usually chop the veg on low in the thermo and kind of forgot what I was doing and it ended up as purée... still worked ok! this makes 60 small sausage rolls. . 6 sheets puff pastry 1 roll @colessupermarkets sausage mince 2 carrots... 1 onion 2 cloves garlic 2 potato’s 1 zucchini Large handful parsley parsley is packed full of flavour & nutrients. Contains vitamins A, C & K and also iron, potassium, magnesium & folate.
06.01.2022 Salmon & peach salad Salmon, corn on the cob, salad or spinach leaves, peach, cherry tomatoes, basil, vinegar (balsamic, apple cider) Marinade: ACV, olive oil or coconut oil, tamari, maple syrup, pepper. ... Marinade the salmon for about 30 minutes. Then bake for 8-10min in 200degrees Celsius. Grill the corn cob, and cut off the kernels. Then add it to the salad with the salmon, dressing and mix together. You can use (add or substitute) prawns or any local & fresh fish. Always choose organic & local where you can for the best quality. Add some feta or bocconcini for a twist! Serve on its own or with some roasted potato with ghee or coconut rice for some extra energy
05.01.2022 Lunch // Low fat Greek yogurt topped with banana, strawberries, muesli, peanut butter, Cheerios cream & condensed milk. Little bit of naughty & nice in a bowl. It’s so important to remember that being consistent with your nutrition isn’t about removing all ‘bad’ foods. When you eat whole, nutritious foods 80% of the time, exercise daily, lift heavy weights... it become a lifestyle. Not a diet. Understanding your body & food is essential for creating a balanced life & heal...thy relationship with food. If you train hard then fuelling your body with the right food is key so that you have energy, sleep well & can recover. If you don’t train or exercise at all then it’s important to pay attention to the quality & portions of your food for optimal health & energy. If you want to lose weight, you need a clear goal, plan & support. So if you are feeling a little confused or not getting results. Ask yourself what is it you want. More energy, better sleep, digestion, defined muscles etc Once you are clear on how you want to feel & what you want to improve, making better choices is easier
04.01.2022 My beautiful girls. I constantly go between wanting you to be my babies forever and being excited about all the amazing things you will do in this life. I wish you the strength to face challenges with confidence along with the wisdom to choose your battles carefully. I wish you adventure on your journey and may you always stop to help someone along the way. Listen to your heart & take risks carefully. Remember how much you are loved. Everyday I grow more proud to be your mum.
02.01.2022 S U C C E S S Story Now while I pride myself on being a coach that DOESN’T focus on weightloss... I wanted to share with you what is possible when you show up for yourself. ... This is a busy mum of 3 small kids, the youngest being 10 months. She studies, starting a business and has been in lockdown for the past 6 weeks or so. The weight on the scales is not always the best representation for progress. And we can’t use this as the only way to measure progress. Weightloss on scales: First photo 71kg Second photo 68.2kg A reminder that we can’t always use the scales. The photos show so much more progress than just the numbers! And the best part is that she is enjoying it & her kids join in with her. She is so focussed on getting fitter & stronger that these results are just a measure of that. Note: this client has been following the boss mum program, link is in the bio Fun fact: we just discovered on our last group call that we both worked at rosebud maccas (not at the same time) & yes it was well before I qualified as a health coach #healthylifestyle #inspiration #beforeandafter #bossmum #busymum
01.01.2022 Why you should eat more watermelon! Loads of Vitamin A, B6 & C, full of antioxidants and some potassium too & great for hydration. I try to get a whole one and eat 1 large bowl a few times a week, the chickens love the ends & skin too. ... It goes so well with goats cheese, bocconcini, feta or any cheese really!
01.01.2022 The difference between getting results & not. #mindset #selftalk
