(The best paint job in the world won't fix the plaster. ) So a simple scrape and re-plaster BEFORE the repaint and everyone should be happy. PS. I'm not this tall. 08.01.2022 Unseen preparation is what separates good painting from cheap and nasty painting. This hallway has 9 doorways, 1 front door, a detailed ceiling, detailed skirting and picture rails. But 50% of the labour went into prep. (sweep, sand, wash, fill cracks, mask, undercoat) before the 'real' painting even started.
