21.01.2022 We are DONE!!! What a ripper end to the year, today was a huge effort, not only getting boxes finished but a busy as hell few hours that we were open! Ballan, and everyone that travels to us, thank you! Thank you for a bloody amazing year despite the world being flipped upside down. We have some very loyal and beautiful customers that make what we do so worth it ... Also a quick shout out to Loz, you probably see her cooking bacon for you most days, but she's also a fantastic baker, we absolutely love coming up with these boxes, and she puts in 150% to keep me sane and makes sure I'm not stuck at the shop late so I can go home to Ella. She put in a massive week so we could get these boxes to you guys. So thanks Loz, you're a legend and I couldn't bring all my ideas to life without you. Merry Christmas everyone

08.01.2022 It's that time of the year again! We've had a HUGE year this year. So much uncertainty in the beginning, but we pushed through and made it a time to remember. A time of bulk coffee, southern fried chicken burgers and minimal dishes. We had dance parties out the back and used the dining areas as our store room. Our staff have been incredible throughout it all, they've been so resilient and have adapted to every single new challenge we faced. With constant restrictions and r...ules changes, nothing has been too much. Our customers have shown the most amazing support, they had our backs when they were literally the only people we were allowed to serve. They came, they waited in the freezing Ballan winter, and they came back again and again. For that we will forever be grateful, and it's a time we will talk about for a long time. Everyone at The Tin Plate has put in so much this year and deserves the break more than ever before If we don't see you before, have a Merry Christmas, stay safe and enjoy the family time
