13.01.2022 Anatomy of a Montessori Doctor’s Bag *cue our best David Attenborough voice* The body is trapezoid in shape and its thick skin makes it resilient to the elements. A distinct mouth opening can be found at the top featuring golden teeth, which match the golden rings attaching its arms.... The interior body cavity is divided into four compartments and houses the major organs including: a working stethoscope right at the heart, beneath which sit a cotton lab coat and face mask, two syringe like appendages, two fluid jars for waste removal, and a vestigial structure resembling a tongue depressor. 07.01.2022 Explaining this organ to kids seems like a no brainer right? The brain is actually a very complex organ! It is essentially responsible for the way we perceive and interact with the world around us, from coordinating movement and interpreting sensory input , to processing information and translating it into thoughts and memories ... It also keeps our bodily functions in check including breathing and heart beat. I like to of the brain as a powerful super computer I...t computes many processes and has a pretty laceration, broken skin or other open injury run in the background, like control of breathing. Other programs are only open when needed like attention and concentration. While some are always operating in full view like our personality. It also needs to go to sleep quite regularly to recharge, but despite sleep, it never turns off! See more
