23.01.2022 Life comes in all different shapes and sizes... It’s why we’re embarking on this tiny house adventure. Sometimes life is for living large. But sometimes it’s for living small. Here we think life can be lived large and small all at the same time...... A large and soul warming getaway experience of the best this wonderful region has to offer. A large and truly immersive country @natasha_morgan_ experience in the magical place that is Oak & Monkey Puzzle and its productive gardens, nestled in idyllic Central Victoria’s Highland’s Wombat State Forest. Here we’re all about living large honouring the simple things, like waking up to the morning sun, drinking cups of locally made artisan tea in cups made with the hands of a beautiful maker, wandering through produce filled gardens and paddocks, foraging for autumn’s wild mushrooms, evenings spent by fires switched off from the rest of the world connected only to the beautiful big star studded inky sky... All whilst leaving a tiny off grid footprint on this precious world. The tiny house journey is beginning and we can’t wait for our little ‘living -large-yet-simply’ off grid house on wheels to join us here in just a few weeks. Then the real work starts... to make this tiny house getaway an experience that will leave you with a big nourished heart and a mind filled with unforgettably simple yet beautiful memories. The Tiny House at Oak & Monkey Puzzle is not only a bespoke off grid accommodation experience with a tiny ecological footprint, it’s also a space to showcase and soak up the best of this region. Little Miss 8 will supply the just-collected-still-warm eggs from her feathered friends. I’ll bring the @natasha_morgan_ organic syrups and welcome you to wander our mini market garden... for berries and seasonal greens. Think of it as a tiny house retreat, but a heart warmingly big and generously curated experience of this wonderful region’s artisans, producers and makers. It’s what Oak & Monkey Puzzle is all about. You see Oak & Monkey Puzzle is not only the realisation of a dream held by a family that 5 years ago made a tree change with a purpose. It’s also a special place, that at its heart engenders a warm sense of real community, fosters collaboration, champions creativity and revels in folk that produce and make with big hearts, ethics and passion. . The Tiny House might be a tiny retreat but it’s also an immersive and rich experience of all that makes this region such a wonderful place.
