20.01.2022 As we rapidly approach the end of the year, there are many people hitting the road for the first time with their new caravan in tow. But we have all seen caravans upturned on the side of the road, with peoples new pride and joy in 1000 pieces and sometimes even worse. More often than not, this is caused by trailer sway. Correct ball loading is essential to prevent this phenomenon. There are complex physics calculations to explain it and why it happens. Generally speaking you ...should aim for approximately 10% of the total of the mass towed to be exerted on the ball of the tow vehicle, whilst having the vehicle and the draw bar level. This is why we install and recommend upgraded suspension with GVM increase to assist achieving this ideal towing setup with all Landcruisers we sell. 03.01.2022 Another Sahara on it way- with a twist! Richard missed a similar one initially, so called us from the UK to discuss options- yes the UK! Richard and his family are emigrating here and bought this one sight unseen. Luckily we had several Sahara’s ‘in the nude’ awaiting mods, so we commenced a custom build to his specs, and very similar to the one he originally missed out on.... Its now ready to arrive at his door step for when they get out of quarantine later this week. No job too difficult, no logistics too hard, it’s what we do!
