31.05.2022 For all the turmoil caused by Covid-19, forecasters have turned positive about Australia’s economic prospects this year. Six months ago, forecasters from The Conversation were expecting Australia’s recession to continue this year. But just this week, the prognosticators said they're calling for a continuation of the recovery that began in September. Their latest estimates show Aussie GDP growing 3.2% this year, compared with their previous forecast of a further 4.6% decline. What a difference half a year makes!
