This is what Alliance had to say ...... Washing Cycles how hot do I need to wash? Your laundry will be sterilised by washing at 71 degrees Celsius for 3 minutes or more. Your laundry will also be sterilised at by washing 65 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes or more. Detergents what soap works? Sterilisation can also be achieved through using a quality laundry soap just like the one Tumble injects automatically for you into machine numbers xx xx xx Dryers Does drying my clothes sterilise them too? Yes, it sure does. Just like the washing, the hotter you dry your clothes the shorter the time required for sterilisation. The high setting will run at 87 degrees Celsius, medium 81 degrees and low 71 degrees. In other words, if you dry your clothes on low for 3 minutes you will achieve thermal sterilisation. Other useful tips? Follow care label instructions Be sure to disinfect your washing baskets and bags too before putting your sterilised washing back in them!

Thirdly - our shop is routinely cleaned and sanitised with hospital grade cleaning chemicals Fourth - we are PAY-WAVE ONLY - no coins!! Finally - social distancing - we are leaving the shop OPEN 24HR A DAY to allow people to come in and use our machine while there are fewer people around Remember the shop has 24hr CCTV We are all in this together, so please be mindful and understanding of fellow customers concerns and practice what we have been advised by the government to minimise the spread of C-19
