19.01.2022 To register go to: https://turtleapp.com.au/ Turtle App is a last minute scheduling platform providing a mechanism for booking agencies, individuals and organisations to list their last minute or difficult to cover assignments where they are requiring Auslan (Australian Sign Language) interpreting services. Auslan Interpreters registered with Turtle App are able to view upcoming assignments in real time suitable to their location and NAATI certification levels and apply di...rectly to the creator of the booking if they are available to attend. Turtle App also provides the ability for Registered Deaf Clients to be linked to upcoming assignments to view all the assignment details. It is important to note that Turtle App is not a booking agency, but an online app connecting booking organisations, interpreters and clients with the aim of reducing the supply and demand issue and providing greater coverage to the Deaf and wider community nationwide. Turtle App can only be used to apply for Interpreting assignments within Australia by NAATI Certified Interpreters. 12.01.2022 We request your assistance in promoting TurtleApp to other interpreters and those in the community finding it difficult to cover their last minute assignments. Please assist in Sharing TurtleApp with all your interpreting friends, organisations and the general community. Without interpreters registered on TurtleApp there is no one to accept last minute jobs listed and without last minute jobs listed by individuals or organisations there is nothing for interpreters to accept.... We are hoping by spreading the word the TurtleApp platform will be successful in assisting to alleviate the supply and demand issues faced within the interpreting profession.
