08.01.2022 I Choose Inclusion produced by Queensland Parents for People with a Disability (QPPD) in 2011 has been a valuable handbook for Queensland advocates for inclusiv...e education for close to a decade, but it was out of print and out of date. CRU has recently produced an updated version of I Choose Inclusion which includes information and links to the DoE Inclusive Education policy, NCCD, UNCRPD General Comment no 4, the Queensland Human Rights Act, and more. It still includes valuable information for families on dealing with barriers to inclusive education, advocacy and meeting strategies, and the fundamentals of school inclusion. Hard copies are available on request by emailing [email protected] or you can download it via the link below.
