The beautiful relationship between mother and daughter. The realness that Zoom has returned to our lives. Too often the only glimpse we see of people is the polished, make-uped, prepped to be seen version. I love that this period in time has brought back the real life glimpse. There’s something about being on a Zoom call with a CEO and having to pause the conversation because his 5 year old needs a drink, that reminds you of how we are all humans just doing our best in challenging times. Everyone’s best is going to differ on each given day. Be kind and keep the light in your eyes!!

11.01.2022 One of the best things about writing this book has been reconnecting with the people who’s stories we share. I caught up with Wayne Mawer in Cairns a couple of months ago. I helped Wayne prepare first his first attempt at a world water skiing championship many moons ago.... What did I know about water skiing? NOTHING!! But I knew a lot about the last 1% between his ears! That’s what determines a champion! Wayne went on to win multiple world titles and then took these success principles into his business. Soooo good to reconnect after all of these years. Can’t wait to share his story with you all.

Have the self worth to say no without qualifying it. As soon as you offer a qualification you give people a leaver with which to manipulate.... Sorry I can’t come as I have to mow the lawn. You can pay someone to do that. I can’t afford it. My son will do it for nothing. No, I actually like mowing the lawn. More then you like me and spending time together? STOP No, but thanks for the offer. You don’t have to qualify it and those who ask you too are struggling with their own issues around worthiness. Be kind but firm.

05.01.2022 How do you remain heart centred? We get this question a lot from business owners, managers. They feel bogged down under the weight of P&L Reports, concerns for the future and drained by feeling of constant hustle.... The answer is simple always have something powerful that can transport you immediately to a state of gratitude, love and joy! My daughter made me this just before I flew out with Trev to record our book. I slipped it into my diary before I left, as every time I open my diary on this trip, I see this special little creation and it gets me heart centred every time. So what is it for you? The most powerful thing in business is when you have a mission or mantra that gets everyone in your organisation heart centred. Connect to your purpose and your passion and staying heart centred is so much easier when you are experiencing challenges.
