She's come up with a great plan of medication...and it's working! A...ngie has her mobile ph with her now so please either post positive, loving & supportive msgs on here that I can read to her, or post onto her timeline I know how much receiving msgs of support means...you guys helped me to fight and stay motivated now it's time to rally for our Angie! She's being hit emotionally hard right now this surgical recovery is as tough as it gets, so please if you can help us to keep her head in the game, keep her inspired Even us toughnuts need to hear it sometimes! 19.01.2022 Hi unicorn peeps. For those who have been wanting to know angies progress. She is doing as well as we could hope. All sings look good she is clearly in a lot of pain from the surgery and very tired but has good colour and vitals. She had a yield of 557000 islet cells which was actually more than could be used. ... The next few days are going to be rough but she is being a total trooper and marching forward. It is never nice to watch a child in hospital. You can’t help but stress about them but the team down at the WCH have been completely amazing and are watching her like a hawk 24/7. Onwards and upwards!

11.01.2022 Hi everyone! Today's Angie update: The Physio therapist came in this afternoon...Angie managed not only sitting up on the edge of the bed for the 1st time...our toughnut managed thru the pain to stand & gently March on the spot for 5mins! Totally wiped her out for the rest of the day not surprising at all each milestone forward is exhausting during the ICU part of recovery. I love the ICU nurses they are an Awsome bunch so positive and encouraging...they all watched with big smiles when Angie achieved standing and fussed over her this morning giving her a beautiful hair do! So all is going well and you never know...tomorrow could be the day Angie makes it to sitting in a chair.
11.01.2022 We are mere hours away from our Angie having the transplant Angie is doing really well inlight of this big procedure I'm so proud of her right now...as she's sleeping tonight. We cannot wait for her to have her 1st real day without constant pain interfering with her life. I will keep you all updated with her progress thru 1st & 2nd stage of the transplant, they won't be waking her up between the stages in ICU she will be incubated throughout all of tomorrow and won't be woken till all is completed. I thank all of you for your support & blessings it means so much to us! Please keep our girl in your prayers I know how much it helped me get thru this. Much love to you all and I hope you're all well and safe.
11.01.2022 Have been to the hospital tonight. Chewie is doing well by all accounts. Transplant went well and now back in ICU. She was still asleep when we visited. Will go back in the morning to visit again. Thank you to everyone following for their kind words and thoughts.
03.01.2022 Half time update: Angies stage 1. Surgery went fantastic, They manage to remove her Pancreas. They had to remove most of her spleen after the surgeons got a huge shock finding her Pancreas in a worst state than expected...if they hadn't gone ahead with the surgery 1 more big attack and our girl most likely wouldn't have survived....the timing of her surgery was perfect. Angie is now in ICU being kept incubated and medical induced sleep and won't be woken until the 2nd stage(islet cells transplanted) is complete. Our girl is stable and doing very well just waiting for her cells to come back from Melb tonight. Can't thank the amazing transplant teams from RAH & WCH enough!
