25.01.2022 Be patient. Good things take time. Our head Chef Dom is beyond eager to get back into the kitchen and drive his passion onto your plates. We will be opening very soon and cannot wait to shout the opening date from the roof tops, SO SOON! For now, we need to create a new winter menu for you, our wonderful guests. With this also comes making sure we abide by all social distancing rules, keep everyone safe and still bring you an amazing dining experience. With all of this, takes time. 25.01.2022 Freshly made pasta. There is something so extremly satisfying about watching pasta being made fresh and boy can you taste the difference!! At The Schoolhouse Restaurant pasta and pastry is hand rolled and cut daily. You truly can taste the love poured into it!

20.01.2022 UPDATE- To all our wonderful patrons As restrictions ease, the ease of opening remains a challenge. With such minimal numbers being able to walk through the beloved Union Bank doors we shall, for now, remain shut. It pains us not to be able to serve you the must haves and favorites dishes we all began to swoon over during the 6 months we were open. The challenges put before us have not deterred us in any way. Having the time to re-group, experiment and manifest new ideas h...as created fire in our bellies for a re-opening. We are re-assessing weekly and will keep you updated of the exact date we plan to re-open, with social distancing practices in place, ensuring the safety of staff and our customers. 14.01.2022 HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY TO US! We have been so busy over the last few months that we let our one-year celebrations slip straight through our fingers! It’s been over a year now since we opened our doors to our beautiful patrons, and what a roller coaster it has been! ... We opened a business during one of the worst droughts and bushfire seasons NSW has seen - then six months into the day, we had to close our doors for over three months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We can all agree we have all had many dark days over the past year, but we are so fortunate to say we have also experienced SO MUCH GOOD! It’s the kind of good that has not only shone through, but burst through a set of giant velvet curtains, singing show tunes, while riding a purple unicorn and sprinkling glitter and love! How lucky are we?! We are beyond overwhelmed and grateful for the generosity and kindness from our suppliers, producers, and guests as well as all the support of other small businesses in Orange. We cannot thank you all enough. With the incredible love and beauty that encompasses Orange, we know that if we continue to support each other, Orange will keep shining bright and continue to be the beautiful destination that it is! We would love to celebrate our belated one year with you so please pop in for a cheeky drink and some friendly banter.
