24.01.2022 A lot can change in a decade. If you had of said to me ten years ago... Sara, youre going to stop drinking, stop speaking badly to yourself AND others, youre to look after your body, your mind and stop self destructing. Youre going to recognise and remove toxicity and the people it comes from. Youre also, going to work hard, build what we all want.. then lose it. ... Youre going to start a journey wrong, by trying to drop weight over night and youre going to fail about ten times. Sara, if you dont give up and establish a firm foundation from rock bottom, you will get everything you ever dreamed of... Youre also going to realise youre WORTH IT Thats what happened. An excruciating short version. I didnt have people clapping for me, I had people trying to bury me. Be the people who clap and cheer. Give yourself the time and space to build everything you ever wanted. Youll shed more than weight, youll lose everything that holds you back and the negativity you harbour and youll Be glad its gone Start acting like the master of your life, instead of a participant. Change is hard, but its better than trying to force yourself into a place you dont belong anymore.

Cause obesity related conditions is something that cant be argued about, CAUSE EVERYONE AGREES!! (Who would of thought)... No conspiracy, no dodged numbers, no head scratching WTH moments. Its real and has been for a while. Its been an epidemic for ages. The only conspiracy with this is, how is maccas essential? (Dont pull at that thread ) Overweight and obesity is a driver for 22 diseases including diabetes, musculoskeletal conditions, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, asthma, dementia and various cancers - BUPA You always said you never had time to look after yourself and eat well.... you do now! Look after yourself, every single part of you will thank you. Is it about skinny? god no, its about health... and healthy looks different on everyone and doesnt include copious amounts of fake foods.

22.01.2022 Food makes me happy, there I said it. You know why though? Cause the right foods will boost serotonin...not fluff, not endorphins.. the actual precursor of serotonin and a place for them to live. Good gut health- good home for serotonin. No point putting all the goods in when your gut health is hostile and will destroy anything that wants to hang out. Gut is important, look after that!... Good amino acid pool- precursor of neurotransmitters (your body makes these) Good vitamin supply- synthesis working bees (who doesnt want their own tiny colony of minions) TRANSLATION: EAT WELL, FEEL WELL. Happy hormones plus the pieces of your body puzzle to make your body WORK Im eating peanut butter, banana pancakes topped with mixed nuts and seeds, fruit and coconut yogurt squished in the layers. Every single ingredient has a role to play.. mix them together and they will perform a show, you just cant see it.. .. but youll feel it Whats your fave brunch?

22.01.2022 Never tried tuna... then I made it. Well, if youre searching for love, you dont need to go on love island cause I FOUND IT! Thanks to JB COASTAL SEAFOODS for this delightful fillet.... I seared it, served it with mashed roast pumpkin, sauted broccolini and zucchini with blistered tomatoes. Balsamic,cinnamon and honey glaze cause Im a bit fancy like that. Found a new fave, move over salmon youve been replaced. What a beauty of a dinner, accompanied by Silence and a dressing gown in my lounge.
21.01.2022 Having a cheat day after a months worth of great eating, habit breaking and goal achievement.... is the equivalent of throwing mud all over a freshly mopped floor- just because. YOU HAVE TO DO IT ALLLLLLL OVER AGAIN. Here come the headaches, again.... Here comes the guilt, again. Here comes the cravings, again. Abusing your body with junk food, wont help anyone- especially you. Had a bad day? Look after yourself properly.

I remember speaking with her for the first time almost a year ago and hearing the defeat and attitude in her, cause thats what happens when you feel like no one cares. I watch daily as Ms D and everyone of my clients GROW. The struggle is real to face yourself, but Im with you for every step.... Its removing people from your life who bring you down. Its taking a break. Its removing the pressure you put on yourself. Its speaking our truth. Its loving yourself first. Its being kind to yourself. Its showing compassion to you. Its voicing things, finally to release it from your chest. Its walking around a river or on the beach when your heads about to explode. Its having a hot bath. Its making some tea. Its eating good foods. Its looking after YOU, in the entirety. Not just getting your nails done. I make sure I walk daily, that my time. Why? keeps you full wont spike blood sugar and have you looking for snacky snacks an hour later. massive energy hit ... keeps you balanced no bloat or fluid retention Mix up your breakfast or brunch and add some FAT into your life. You know when you go out for breakfast and have a big breaky.. its usually loaded with eggs, spinach, bacon, avocado and even a snag. All fat. Youre full till dinner. No coincidence. Fat= energy PB and banana smoothie bowl. Ps. Lucky I have clothes on or the tea would be outrageous this morning
12.01.2022 CHOCOLATE and BANANA PANCAKES 100% added sugar free! 100% delicious Gluten free! The consistency is like a brownie ... I tell ya what, you get pretty creative when you feel like Kabana for breakfast Ingredients: 1 banana 1 egg 1/4 cup Milk of choice Handful of spinach 1 tablespoon cocoa 1/2 cup LSA mix 1 teaspoon of both nutmeg and cinnamon How do I do it? In a blender mix your banana, egg and spinach untill mush. Throw that in a bowl and add all other dry ingredients and the milk- Mix well. Cook on the stove top like a regular pancake. This mix makes 2 medium pancakes. Too with fruit, yoghurt, hemp seeds and mixed seeds and add a drizzle of honey if you want. Youre welcome

11.01.2022 Good morning. What if I told you nutrition is exactly this? Its good food, minimal processing and every mouthful is beneficial. Worried about putting on.. dont.... This is peanut butter, banana, cocoa and spinach pancakes. Middle layer is coconut yoghurt. Spinach cant be tasted at all, sneak that into smoothies or pancakes for added oomph. Also awesome to trick your kids and picky adults on eating greens. You wear what you eat, you feel what you eat. So, how you doin?!

10.01.2022 What are you actually eating and how much of it? This is majority of people’s issues- no idea what’s on the end of their forks. When you don’t know what you’re consuming, that’s when problems present and the age old declaration of ‘BUT I EAT HEALTHY?!’ It has and always will be about balance.... The relationship you have with food is one of THE most IMPORTANT. It’s not going anywhere, we’re always going to be asking ‘what’s for dinner’. So do yourselves a favour and educate yourself on what your body needs... it’s not dieting I give you a the tip! Sweet potato fluffy eggs with avocado and nuts. Perfect brunch to keep me going till dinner.

09.01.2022 CAKE MIX! Haha as if! Tricked ya Whipped peanut butter, coconut yoghurt and cocoa. Topped with hemp seeds and kiwi.... This is THAT GOOD, it feels naughty. Fatty delight- energy dense! Peanut butter for B vitamins that are vital for function, metabolism, energy. Coconut yogurt- delicious alternative to lactose and gut bacteria. Hemp seeds: omegas Kiwi: fibre and huge doses of vitamin C Your plate will serve you, and you will wear the benefits.

We talk daily, he checks in with me his food, whats been happening in his days and things hes noticing after we did a shuffle around.... You see, he wasnt eating bad, he wasnt eating enough! He wasnt eating the right foods for him plus i took him off POWDERS- he beat his PB in cycling. Food only. I have watched him grow in so many ways, open up and deep dive into change with so much positive embrace. I am proud to stand with you and watch you evolve. I love stories. I live for this
08.01.2022 Oomph! Scrambled eggs with zucchini, spinach, Sundried tomatoes, chilli and garlic. Takes a whole of 7 MINUTES! Can be prepared in advance. Can be reheated for lunches on the run, work or just cause.... This doesnt have any dairy, or gluten! Straight nutrients, only benefits! How do you do it? Easy: Grate a zucchini in a pan with garlic and chilli (or sweet potato), fry off until brown.. crack 3 eggs in ( free range obviously), use a whisk and whisk it around to create the fluffy goods! Add spinach and tomatoes at the end. Serve with whatever you want. Avocado for some fat? Or toast if you love the carbs.

08.01.2022 Introducing my little TEEN QUEEN! She had an assignment to design me a breakfast thats nutritious and delicious, PLUS easy to prepare. MISS TQ designed this recipe and when asked what could be added for extra energy, she answered granola or oats. (The force is strong with this one, and lessons have been taken in wonderfully)... berry and mango smoothie bowl. breakfast or snack idea Add 1 cup of frozen mango 1 cup of frozen berries 1 and 1/4 cup of orange juice blend until all is combine once smooth put into a bowl and top with fresh raspberries and mango with oats ontop. I am so proud of her.

07.01.2022 LOW CARB ALTERNATIVES. Do you need bread/ rice/ pasta to bulk up your food? - eh no. Veggies are carbs.... Fruit is carbs. -Make fluffy scrambled eggs with sweet potato or zucchini. - Zucchini or potato rosti instead of bread with your eggs. -Roast vegetables tossed through greens, with nuts and avocado. -Peanut butter smoothie bowl- add an egg and turn them into pancakes! You are getting your fuel from your veggies and fat! If youre trying to faze your carb meals out. Ditch them for a meal. You have ALOT of replacements. Time is exactly the same, benefits are huge! Will you be hungry? Nope.

N O T H I N G ... theyre bothering the same recipe, except one is cooked for pancakes, the other is a thick smoothie. They both have the same energy composition, theyre both FAT based. Both have the same toppings, but I traded an apple For a grilled pear. One has coconut yogurt, the other has LSA mix. Still fat. Whats the difference between bread and pasta? Nothing. Theyre both carbs. The difference between chicken breast and steak? Theyre both protein. STOP complicating your eating lives. Educate yourself to the basics, knowledge is power and on a plate is GOALS ACHIEVED.

This is fresh tuna steak from the one and only JB COASTAL SEAFOODS! ... Served with roast carrot, roast parsnip, cauliflower mash, broccolini and a balsamic/ honey and cinnamon sauce. This is a ‘wannabe apple crumble’ Stewed apple ans pear. With a crumble of crushed nuts, LSA, cinnamon, dash of honey and coconut oil. Topped with coconut yogurt. 03.01.2022 When the last time you had N A C H OS?! Me? Years! Then I had a mad hankering and was a little bit over my mex Bowls. Treat yo self? Nah balance yourself.... Having tortilla strips is no different to having a wrap or taco shells. Carbs are carbs. I loaded these with a beans, mince, cucumber, red onion and corn mix. Topped with coconut yoghurt and avocado. Easy as and tasty.

Cause guess what it doesnt appear out of thin air- your body makes it. ... Lets take a steak for example, its protein and a decent source. Your body breaks that down to an amino acid, then its mixed with other chemical compounds to make tryptophan.. then that is the precursor of serotonin. Voila! Guess what else though? What happens when you run out? What happens when you fill your body with nothing but crap? Hows it going to be made? A pill? There is a reason why eating like makes you feel like . Prolonged abuse of fake foods will hurt you in more ways than diabetes. It grinds me to my core when I see oh yeah my diet will really help my mental health - your diet is your biochemistry provider. Im not talking about trauma, or psychological aspects right now- Im talking about the simple science of fuelling the body with what it needs to function.

This relationship stems from sooooo many factors. Worth. Pain. Habits. Coping. Emotions. Self esteem. Your mind and body work together, once you really recognise this.. youll achieve everything you ever wanted.
01.01.2022 Check out the severely uneducated ME! Oh yeah, that was me 7 years ago thinking that the way to fit and healthy and my own words smoking hot, was to DIET. Fast forward to now, how many of you STILL think thats the answer? ... Its not. See, I didnt have anyone educating me about food. I had dont eat that its bad without an explanation. I had calorie cutting, counting and horrid view of food. You know whats bad? The idea and thought that getting to your goals and staying there = a diet. No one wants to live on a diet, so tailor a lifestyle that works for you that FEEDS your goals. Its all do able, you are the MASTER OF CHOICE. What you need and I mean actually NEED, is the firm understanding that removing shit food is not a diet, its a lifestyle adjustment. Adjust the input, and your output will automatically improve. Add some education, food balancing and a fresh outlook and youre rocking!
