20.01.2022 How many opportunities does the valley get a band who is played on Tripple J, has also played Like version and has a number of songs in this years Tripple J hottest ! Not many if any? 17.01.2022 The Dystonia Collective is so proud to have contributed in a small way to this family with Dystonia. But let’s also say a big thanks and acknowledge Jason Lynch who also raised $13k on his own and was instrumental in organising last year festival. Also big thank you to Julie Lenane at Yarralen retreat. Kenzie was the inspiration for last years Dystonic Blues festival. She needed a new van to fit her wheelchair... like desperately. We are so happy for her and her mum Sheryl ...Weight to finally get their forever wheels. It’s so great to see what giving can achieve to help others. So thank you to all those that purcahsed tickets or donated or volunteered for our Dystonic Blues festival especially the musicians!

16.01.2022 The courtesy bus will be running again. Thanks to Stuart’s Point Bowling Club for donating the courtesy bus! We just need to know who needs a pick up and from where? Pick up times will be from 11.30am to 4pm and drop offs will be from 8pm till late! So put up your hand if you need a lift and from where. It will help us work out a bit of a timetable. 16.01.2022 We at the Dystonia Collective have been shocked and sadden by the news of Ewan Muek’s tragic passing. A young man, a musical artist, a great human, Ewan Mueck, a fellow legend from our home Valley who played at The Dystonic Blues last month, lead singer and guitarist of Man Cub. We Thank you, Ewan for your support, and for sharing your incredible talent to our Valley and at our event. ... Our deepest condolences and thoughts go to your family, and friends. RIP mate. There will be a memorial at Valla Hall in honour this Sunday 2 February from 4pm. If anyone had any photos or videos of Ewan or his performance from our event, the family are reaching out to make something special for this weekends memorial. 15.01.2022 Its on today!! The Dystonia Collectives annual fundraising event and its bigger and better than ever in 2019. We need to make this one big because we are trying to help so many people. We are trying to help Mckenzie, a little girl with Dystonia, the worst cast we have ever seen, who has outgrown her vehicle and needs a new one. But we also want to help those who have been devestated by the fires in our local valley. And to say thank you to our RFS free tickets for RFS and e...mergency services. So we really need you all to support and get a ticket! This year we have 11 amazing bands willing to donate there time for both these causes. Tickets are currently on presale for $50 online or $60 on the door. That is less than $5 a band. 13.01.2022 Hey team, as most of you will remember our last fundraising event went to help some of those affected by the local bushfires. Some of the money raised went to organisations and some went to this lovely couple who were nominated by the Rotary Club as in need. It’s still a long road to recovery for a lot of people and glad other organisations can help. But just wanted to say thank you again to all those that donated and volunteered and bought tickets to the event. You really did help a lot of people.

12.01.2022 It’s been a while since we have had an update on our awesome fundraising event! The Dystonia Collective team is proud to say we raised $8000! A personal best for The Dystonia Collective on our third year running! It’s a massive thing organising this event and we are truly grateful! You know who you are! Half of the money $4,000 will be going to McKenzie who suffers from Dystonia. Our event helped get their much needed van to accomodate her new wheelchair. So thank you to all who donated goods, time or skills ... and all that came to enjoy the event . It was a great Christmas Present! The other $4,000 is going to those affected by the bushfires in our local area! Which is greatly needed and they thank you all who came and donated toward the event. Again thank you to all that came to our third annual event. We are so pumped how this keeps growing and getting bigger and better every year, we have already started planning for next year. 07.01.2022 How special was this... the most intimitate acoustic set from Lime Cordiale in our home town of Yarrahappinni. 150 people attended and all money donated to worthy causes. Plus so many more amazing artist played and donated their time. I am missing live music right now. So just wanted to share a video that was given to me by one of our supporters and attendees. If you have videos or photos from our last event please get in contact we would love to see them.
