24.01.2022 Hey folks well things are happening at Penong and Thevenard pub. From Wednesday this week we are a liquor legends outlet in both hotels. Check out our catalog and be sure to grab a member rewards card from our friendly staff in both hotels. 10 years in the making and we still here

23.01.2022 So the bottle shop Reno’s are coming along nicely with just some painting to go and we are increasing our range of stock including a larger range of wines. I can’t show you what is happening in the bar yet but there are some good things happening in there as well. Looking forward to day we can swing the doors

22.01.2022 So after 9 odd weeks tommorow morning we open the doors at thevy again. 11 am opening and we even have the races on in the background to make it sound like a hotel again. Subject to strict social distancing conditions and set numbers for each area. No pokies and TAB or 8 BALL or Darts. We are limited to our numbers which are are low and we will not be doing sit down dining at this stage till further ease of restrictions allow numbers to make this viable. We are still doing take away meals every Wednesday till Saturday from 5 - 8 pm. Can’t wait to turn that bloody key in the door. 22.01.2022 my apologies to everyone who tried to ring Thevy pub last night. In my haste to shut down all the poker machines and TAB in the bar I turned the power off to the phone as well. we are open and the phone is working and you can call me on my mobile 0427259084 to place any orders. We are also now doing takeaway meals every night.thank you everyone for you support to all local businesses in these very trying times. #fightingback

08.01.2022 BOTTLE SHOP TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS. Hey folks you will see this week that our bottle shop drive through is closed. This is due to some renovations happening. As you can see the place has been emptied our in preparation. The hotel bar, dining and gaming areas are still open as normal and we have limited takeaway available in the bar. 04.01.2022 AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE THEVENARD HOTEL. Hi All, Our prime minister has just announced that as of today at noon all hotels clubs restaurants and cafe must close. So sadly as of today we will be closed until further notice,BUT this does not include bottle shop sales and we will still be doing pizzas but only as takeaways. Please call the hotel on 86252041 to pre order your pizza. We will only be trading during the hours of 4-8pm. This will be a cash less transaction (EFT...POS only) as we can't handle cash money and expose my staff to a transfer through hand to hand cash transfer. PLEASE SHARE THIS MESSAGE WITH AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN BECAUSE NOT ALL ARE NOT FRIENDS OF OUR HOTEL THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP STAY SAFE. 04.01.2022 Well after a long 13 weeks this morning I was allowed to reopen my gaming room. Subject to strict social distancing and contact details to be recorded before entry to gaming room. (The recording does not apply to the rest of the hotel). Only 10 people can be in the room at any given time and this will be strongly enforced by staff at all times.
