25.01.2022 It has come to our attention that some of the Thevenard / Ceduna community have some concerns regarding crew leaving their vessels whilst in the Port of Thevenard. All ships entering Thevenard are under stringent Quarantine and Border restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. There has been no vessel call the port from international waters since last year, ships that are calling from coastal waters are also answering questionnaires before being allowed to berth.... Its quiet alarming that our community are gossiping about this out of fear. P.s the ships crew are wearing masks as they are protecting themselves, not because they have the virus. The port is vital to our community and economy and ships crew love coming here and shopping local. Lets not deter them from enjoying our piece of coastal paradise at a time when we should all be looking out for each other.
