It is not the lack of intimacy.... It is not the lack of connection. It is not the lack of trust or loose boundaries. I know it is the lack of active listening. How are you listening to yourself ....and to others? How self aware are you, listening to your needs? How present can you be, listening to the other? So what is happening when we do not listen to each other from a neutral space: _ projection and judgement before the other person has even finished talking? _maybe even interrupting _or formulating already a response instead of active listening. _self criticism without confirming what you have heard. _disconnecting while going into your past stories. _loosing courage and relationship _acting from fear, rage or doubt You have a choice. =>read the full blog here: See more

24.01.2022 The last 6 months have been beyond what anyone could have imagined last year. It is historical on many levels and most urgently... let's name it for what it is now... it's painful for many. Are you ok? I am opening up my Tuesdays for 'connection calls'. ... Human connection, at least via a phone call, is so important. I am happy to be there for you, to listen and if you wish, to share my perspective. We also have an incredible ability to think about, or overthink, our feelings. I have done enough of it to know it does not help in the long run. Yet, feeling in order to integrate an experience, to understand yourself more, to evolve, to understand and let go of the past, is crucial. People kill themselves because of a feeling or emotion. Sometimes literally, often slowly and metaphorically. Why did I never learn about feelings in school, I wonder. 23.01.2022 Dear Village tribe. I'm sure you've been wondering what the future holds for you. Can your life return to "normal"? I have been talking to people who don't want to go back to the old ways. Lot's of questions to ponder with. What can we do as a community? Connecting here and as much as we can is certainly a good way to go... ... I remember the fall of the Berlin Wall. The force for freedom and love. Love for unity. Chaos and human will that overcame a totalitarian fear based surveillance state. Back then without the digital realm! I remember receiving a type writer letter from Neues Forum while still under GDR rules. The peaceful revolution of 1989 is an unforgetable memory of my youth. And it ended with a super corrupt takeover! West- took East-Germany in a storm. The lost chance of evolving to a more sustainable and healthy society. Capitalism with all it's shine was stronger. I am longing for a "new forum". (Def. grassroots democratic movement to end the silence in political communication, check Awakening89) What are the foundations for a new society? Sustainable action is crucial. What about Awakening19? ...or 20? You do not need permission from anyone but yourself. Be. Responsible. Critical thinking can not be a lost trade! <3 Sending lots of love.

22.01.2022 It has been a journey of learning, right from the beginning. Starting from an impulse of service to community and inspired by co-creation I was creating 4 Villages with amazing help from many friends. - Time for reflection: 2 years now that I had to surrender completely and TVC is still waiting for it's time to manifest into the 5th gathering. I feel the importance to honour the failures, learnings, losses, the grief and my pain. Lets not miss the ripening and deepening th...at comes with the dark night of the Soul, with grief and feeling the pain. I allow my self to be present with all that is. It's time for conscious endings and conscious new beginnings... and ... I personally and also us as a Village tribe, we can look at this as an opportunity, I welcome any feedback, ideas and help while the old is burning away and the ashes may hold the wisdom, with some alchemy and love, I want to believe that something new can arise. May you be able to celebrate your endings and new beginnings, may your path be filled with trust and may your soul shine through your being. See you in 2020. With gratitude. Lars

18.01.2022 "The most important bias in the current situation is that of composition/division. Our minds gravitate towards a false black people vs police dichotomy. Yet, reality is far more complicated than that. Police in some cities were marching alongside protesters. Many of the looters and rioters were white, masked, and not part of the protests at all. Most of the protesters were non-violent and most of the police were non-violent. But, due to our negativity biases, we saw and rem...embered the violent ones on each side. And due to our salience bias, we overemphasize the actions of the violent ones over the peaceful majority. And due to the fallacies of composition and division, we make assumptions about two groups based on the actions of a small number of individuals." 12.01.2022 The last 6 years I attended a mens gathering near Melbourne at this time of year. Connecting with humans, with some 200plus men for a weekend offline but deepening connection. Self reflecting, sharing, opening, holding and learning together makes the human experience rich and meaningful. Growing and maturing as a man, with men on my site and sitting in circle together has been a journey of at least 12 years. Let's connect and co-create a new culture by providing a Rite of Passage for our children. Contact me if you would like to support and/or be part of a ROP for teenage boys in early 2021.

08.01.2022 Unfortunately we have to cancel the event due to council arriving and serving notice on the land owner and consequently the event for not having a permit. This has to happen by 8:30pm tonight or the venue/property and the festival director will be served court orders (which will result in fines fo anything from $10K to $150K). I am heart broken and totally gutted that this has happened as I booked this venue in good faith and it is such a small gathering where permits are no...t required unless... My deepest apologies for the inconvenience. Of course all tickets will be refunded as soon as possible. Kind regards, Lars.
