24.01.2022 In case you haven't heard, 'Village Festival favourites Lock&Hock Productions will be performing their new RedFoot Cabaret show at the Pilbeam Theatre on Friday 27th November! Hot off a sold out performance at the Brisbane Cabaret Festival, RedFoot Cabaret follows our favourite eclectic mob of broke performers as they try to stay ‘just the right amount of drunk’ to put up with each other’s antics. Starring Amanda Hock, Travis Hock, Amber Oliver and Martin Kay - as you might e...xpect, there are plenty of laughs, fabulous singing and a few surprises! 7pm, Adults $35, concession $30. Presented by Rockhampton Regional Council. Recommended ages 18+. Coarse language and adult themes Tickets: www.seeitlive.com.au

08.01.2022 A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE The Blues, Burgers, Beers and Bubbles night may not have been as big as CQUniversity Village Festival events in previous years, but with Covid-19 restrictions limiting numbers, those who made it had a good time! The Festival Board would especially like to thank those individuals and businesses that provided special or additional support to ensure we could put the night on:... Michelle Landry Keppel Developments Craig Lanson's Yeppoon Betta Home Living IPA Not forgetting the wonderful job always done by Rotary on the Capricorn Coast with the ticketing, logistics and food. Much love to Keppel Coast Blues and Music Club for a night of fantastic music and to Aaron Symonds and his team A2Z Live Entertainment for the livestream We hope the various issues we faced on the night didn’t spoil your enjoyment too much. This Saturday’s jazz night at Pie Alley Blues is sold out, which just highlights how keen everyone is to get out as Covid restrictions gradually lift! The Board looks forward to getting back to bigger events next year!! 04.01.2022 Phil Henry, Chair of the CQUniversity Village Festival Board, was thrilled to receive a cheque for $500 from Greg Wilson, President of Rotary on Capricorn Coast, at their weekly meeting today. The Rotary group managed the ticketing, food, drink and logistics for the Festival’s Blues, Burgers, Beer and Bubbles night at Yeppoon Town Hall on 7 August. As the evening’s revenue surpassed estimates, Rotary on the Capricorn Coast very kindly resolved to return some of the takings... to the Festival. The remaining profits will go towards the group’s priority project, the Mulumbin Beach Park Project. Music on the night was provided by a selection of members of the Keppel Coast Blues and Music Clubb, with two stages operating to enable non-stop music and maximum opportunities to play. The event was live streamed by Aaron Symonds of A2Z Live Entertainment!
