19.01.2022 05/08/2020 Hi Friends, weve all no question been doing it tough this year due to Covid 19. We have nearly all experienced some of the sadness and potential trauma that has presented itself with the significance of this pandemic. Im going to be truly honest, Ive found things to be a bit of a battle both physically and mentally. I have endured a fair bit in my lifetime in terms of the challenges that have come my way, however Ive also had the opportunity to surround myself ...with a great deal of hope! Which is why theres a few wonderful things that have kept me going during this ridiculously challenging period. The number one thing that has definitely helped me is having faith. As a result Ive had a lot of great people to turn to for a chat if I need it. Ive also been able to offer others a chance to turn to me for a chat with the hope that they too can draw strength from opening up in conversation. Tomorrow many of us are faced with one of our toughest realities yet and that is that so many of our favourite small businesses in our beloved Victoria will be fully shut to try and further prevent the spread of this virus in most parts of Melbourne. As I touched on briefly I now find that one of the truly most wonderful things for as long as I can remember thats been a real go to outlet for me to help aid positive mental health and to deal with the difficult moments that having learning needs display Im going to be with out for 6 weeks! And that is Gardening! I wont be able to use a my gifts to help others out by attending to people of the local community. By that I mean through out The Beautiful Dandenong Ranges and the great variety of Gardens I have the privilege of looking after with my business The Village Gardener. Looking on the bright side, fortunately I have a lot to do at home so no doubt my own place will be looking a million dollars at the end of that time frame. However I will sorely miss the chats I have in the garden with my clients. Im pleased to say that for the majority of you I have the pleasure and joy of calling you my friends. Ill definitely miss you guys I will still have you in my thoughts each day and I trust that youll be ok with out my gardening services for a little while! Its more a question of will I be alright ha ha. My last major outlet of community contact is certainly being stripped from me and it will be hard. Although it is only temporary and I am more than happy and fully prepared to offer free online consultation or over the phone if youve any queries at all during the 6 week period! Good luck! As always Happy Gardening!
