19.01.2022 Can friends of the Fauna Park please share, after reading. This is possibly the most important update & request for help! To my friends that live in other parts of the LWDC area, your emailed support would be loved. The Fauna Park needs saving & upgrading, not closed down with the animals being dumped on a rescue group in Eudunda.

19.01.2022 Due to the terrible time that we had here last week, I'm very sorry to have to put my check-out rule firmly in place. Check-out is STRICTLY between 9am & 11am. I will also no longer put up with BARKERS OR BITERS! If your dog is either of these, please do not ask us to look after it. This is for the safety & comfort of nice dogs, neighbours & US!Due to the terrible time that we had here last week, I'm very sorry to have to put my check-out rule firmly in place. 17.01.2022 -3 tonight, although it felt like that today to me. The kids are all fed, let out to do what they need to do and then closed doors with heating set at 22. They'll hate me in the morning!

15.01.2022 How does a dog become a favourite here? I guess, when they stay on a regular basis and start to become like a member of my four-legged crew. It also helps if they aren't hard work and are fun to play with.... On Friday, 4th October, one of my favourite boys made the ride over Rainbow Bridge. It was a heartbreaking thing for me, let alone his very loving parents. Darling "Rule" suffered toxicity poisoning after eating a smoked fish treat. He only ate half of it before he start...ed frothing at the mouth and then the vomiting set in - and wouldn't stop. His parents took him to Berri Vet (after hours) as they were so worried. Sadly, the toxin he had ingested caused irreversible side-effects, including renal failure. For two weeks they fought to get him better. It's taken me until tonight, after his toxicology results came back, to be able to beg you all not to feed "fish treats". Most of these treats are shark and we all know that their numbers are being depleted due to exploitation by fishing companies. If you need to give your dog Glucosamine or Chondroitin, there are far more ethical ways to get it, it doesn't need to be shark based. As a treat, would you eat dried fish that someone was selling without anything except for the name? It's been well documented (& recalls done) when a chicken jerky brand caused dogs to die. Please, please, be careful of what you think your dog will love to try! Ask yourself whether you would dare to eat it AND think about whether the killing of that animal is stuffing up the natural food chain. RIP Rule! You will always be a legend to me

15.01.2022 FLASHLIGHT!!!! Monday & Wednesday ONLY! Nails, bath & Blowdry inc groom out, from $30. Book quick! $30 small breed, $40 medium, $50 large!

14.01.2022 SHE’S BEEN FOUND Thankyou to everyone that shared this post! I’m so, SO happy!!!! She’s coming back here as I update. REWARD OFFERED FOR SAFE RETURN Narla escaped from my care this afternoon. I'm devastated, heartbroken and a bit annoyed that the white, 4 WD that stopped and picked her up, didn't bother to ask at any shops or homes nearby, if she was theirs. Instead they drove off towards Barmera from Waikerie, so she could be in any town upriver from Waikerie.... She is a 6 month old, Alaskan Malamute. Please, if you hear or see anyone that has just "acquired" one, or if you hear of someone that has found one, please contact me or sapol. Maybe you are the one that picked her up and didn't think to ask, please contact me, you aren't only hurting me but you are hurting the family that obviously loves her and trusted me with her care! Please everyone keep a look out. Please also share. She is such a beautiful pup and needs to come back to the people that love her. She is an escape artist, so there may also be the chance that she will escape from whomever picked her up, so if you see a dog that looks like her roaming, please call your council - me 0427 519 911

13.01.2022 I'm VERY happy to say that I'm now also a stockist of the Australian made & owned Tooza Zoo dog & horse shampoo range. Available here Friday, or for quick delivery and more payment options, you can order via my link in the shared post below https://www.facebook.com/2541286625913905/posts/2544703728905528/

12.01.2022 My sister's German Shepherd had a massive reaction to Bravecto. In saying that, I know of other dogs that have been on it, with no reactions. The time frame that it's actually in their bodies is something to consider - or, just stick with the old favourites, Advantage or Frontline..... OR, try the new Tooza Zoo pet range I'm stocking! https://www.veterinarypracticenews.com/fda-alert-isoxazoli/

09.01.2022 BUSINESS IS NOW BACK TO NORMAL - please don't ask me if I can do anything like what this amazing groomer has done though! A big thank you to my clients that have waited for me to get healthy again & being so understanding during this crazy time.

05.01.2022 To those that know me well, you'd understand that Christmas is a hard time for me - BUT the love given from your pets makes it SO much better! I want to thank every single one of you for the support you've given me and my business over the last 2 1/2 years. It's flown! I can honestly say that in that time, I've made a lot of friends and also fallen in love with so many dogs & cats To have a community support me & trust in me in such a short time, shows me that I'm doing what I love and live for, I'm doing right! Thank you!! Merry Christmas and all my wishes for an amazing New Year!
