23.01.2022 First 22 Football preview for season 2013 will kick off with key player Josh Davie. Whilst the arguments off the field of weather he is more hairy than Caleb Jewell are going on at SVC josh on the football field will be ooooozing class. The current Clarence Roo is expected to shine under head Coach Mark Beck in season 2013. Most likely to push through the midfield whilst getting the dukes extended up forward kicking bags.

19.01.2022 Tonight's AFL preview will be Glenorchy's James Webb. The 'Pocket Rocket' resides from the valley of love and is all ready established his class in the big V jumper in previous years taking out the BOG honors against a northern school last season! Recovering from an ankle injury Virgil's plan to have him ready for round 1, under coach mark beck James could collect some big numbers.

16.01.2022 The last status for tonight will involve 2 sporting profiles from different sporting fields in again AFL and Basketball. Heath Thompson the baller will be a prominent force for the V this season with both his inside and outside games. The versatility is shown with his ability to both play guard and forward. Thompson has represented the state on many occasions and has travelled inter state to compete! We wish Thompson the best this season the the molten in hand! Our AFL preview is with Doyle sport leader Jordan 'Pill' Hayden. Hayden, better known as pill or senior, will be one of the ultimate deciders in how the mighty V travels this year. The Glenorchy magpie young gun and New Norfolk senior premiership player will be playing off half forward with the occasional run on the ball racking them up! One to watch!

14.01.2022 St Virgil old Scholars Vs university rainbows at new town oval on Saturday 11th at 2.00 pm. Get along and see the former Melbourne captain and super star brad green playing for the Rainbows, And his opponent the biggest man for St Virgil's Mark Beck. Make sure that we get along and see this huge game.

10.01.2022 A great success story from term 1 is Jacob Bevis. After venturing into boundary umpiring last year 'Bev Dog' has excelled. Bev after starting out in the STJFL quickly moved to the Old Scholars competition. This year though Bev got a spot on the TSL rookie list- not only booming his income rates but giving him the chance to umpire the TSL colts competition. We all hope Bev gets a senior gig come seasons end! Keep up the good work Jacob!

The versatile magpie has magnificent use mixed, many wonder if Webb attended at Dance school with his tip toe moves dancing around the opposition and can put damage on the score board!
