25.01.2022 Spring can cause allergies in our pets, just like us. If you feel your pet may be experiencing any of the symptoms listed below, get in contact with us to book a consult with either Dr. Sandy or Dr. Alex and they can discuss options available for your pets. We are still doing house calls, with a few changes in place due to COVID-19, or consults at our clinic are also available too.

24.01.2022 Who else is having cuddles with their fur babies on this cold winters night? (2 of Dr Sandy’s tribe - Little puss and Dizzy (Kelpie x whippet)).

19.01.2022 If you will run out of medication during this time let us know and we will get it organised before we close on Thursday 24th.

18.01.2022 Dr Donna from Veterinarian Acupuncture & Wellness Centre will be visiting the clinic each Tuesday to help pets with acupuncture, chiropractic and laser therapy. If you are interested in finding out more visit Donna's site at https://www.vetacuwellness.com.au/ If you are interested in an appointment give our clinic a ring on 0481 211 876 to book an appointment.

15.01.2022 Black cats have been used for many years as a symbol of Halloween, due to the superstitions and old wives tales of them bringing bad luck and being associated with witches. Because of this, black cats are the less likely to be adopted over other cats with different fur colour. Black cats, however, are symbols of good luck in numerous cultures. In the British Islands, black cats are often believed to bring affluence to any house they occupy.... In Japan, they are also considered to bring good luck. In Ancient Egypt, black cats were worshipped as sacred. So share below your worshipped, good luck bringing black cat for us to all enjoy! Below is a photo of one of our team members two black cats. Happy Halloween

15.01.2022 The Visiting Vet have worked hard this year and will be taking a short break over the Christmas/New Year period to recharge. If you think you'll run out of medication for your pet please contact us this week so we can organise it. Hope you all have a safe time and let 2021 be one to remember.

14.01.2022 An incredible story about pet communication

13.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who has been understanding this year with covid and doing contactless consults. Our clinic is a bit smaller than others so we couldn't have people in the clinic. You have all been amazing and we were able to remain open to care for you pets. We will be re-introducing clients in the clinic in the new year - we will be renovating the consult rooms over the break so they will be fresh and new.

13.01.2022 I have the most amazing clients who give us surprises every now and then. Thank you for brightening up our day at the clinic this week, it was much needed.

12.01.2022 June 4th is 'Hug Your Cat Day!' Share a photo with us of your kitty who is getting those extra hugs today!

05.01.2022 As the weather heats up your pets are more at risk of heat stroke. Avoid taking for walks during the warmer part of the day and make sure their water bowl is topped up as they will be drinking more. Heat stroke can be deadly, below are some signs and what to do if you suspect heat stroke.

04.01.2022 Huge congratulations to our super amazing vet nurse Alysia on completion of her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and is now fully qualified. Alysia is a self proclaimed crazy cat lady and has recently found a love of plants (the one pictured is a cat friendly mother in laws tongue). Alysia is a fundamental part of The Visiting Vet team and we would truly be lost without her. We are so proud of you and so blessed to have you on our team. Not sure what you will do with all the free time now you aren't studying.
