Your mental health is going to be your number one priority so please if you are struggling and need to chat do not hesitate to pick up the phone and call, text, email or video chat me I'm happy to listen. Also be compassionate to others, don't get mad because they aren't wearing a mask, maybe they can't due to a medical issue like lung problems or PTSD. If t...hey have their children with them instead of leaving them at home maybe its because home isn't safe for them. If they aren't keeping their distance simply adjust your distance. How you handle these situations is important. Remember we only have control over our own actions and not the actions of others. Thinking of everyone in our community at the moment because regardless of your standpoint on this virus we are all in this together and it is only temporary. Big love

14.01.2022 IN THE KITCHEN WITH THE VITALITY HUB! WEDNESDAY 12:30PM This Wednesday we're going to be making the most DELICIOUS healthy choc chip cookies you'll ever taste! Chewy inside, crunchy outside... did I mention Choc Chips?... Ingredients required: 1 cup coconut oil 1 + 1/4 cup coconut sugar 1 egg + 1 egg yolk 1 tbs vanilla extract 1 cup organic oats 2 cups wholemeal spelt flour (use rice flour for GF if needed) Himalayan salt 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking powder 1 + 1/2 cups organic dark chocolate chips Everyone is invited! 13.01.2022 Tomorrow is Stadium Stompstomp day!! I am raising money Cure Brain Cancer by participating in the event and by also not drinking alcohol for June. Did you know that an estimated 1970 people are diagnosed with brain cancer each year in Australia and roughly 1550 die from the disease. Brain cancer kills more children in Australia than any other disease and more people under 40 than any other cancer. Only 2/10 people diagnosed with brain cancer survive for at least five years f...rom diagnosis. Brain cancer survival rates are low and have barely improved in more than 30 years, despite significant increases in survival for Australians diagnosed with other types of cancer, such as prostate and breast cancer. For example, the five-year survival rate of prostate cancer has increased from 60% to more than 90%, while breast cancer survival has gone from 72% to more than 90%. Brain cancer costs more per person than any other cancer, yet only receives a small fraction of federal government cancer research funding. Additionally Brain cancer costs more per person than any other cancer because it’s highly debilitating, affects people in their prime, and often means family members can’t work if they become carers. This fundraiser is important to me because in 2019 my mum was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. Glioblastoma is a fast-growing brain tumour and the most common malignant primary brain tumour. 05.01.2022 Our first event was a success! It's only been 6 months since the studio opened and today I had the pleasure of having 8 clients join myself and Callan. I'm so proud beyond words of this bunch for taking on a pretty challenging event like Stadium Stomp! It was an icy morning but it turned out to be an absolute cracking day ! Here are a couple of pictures that were snapped throughout the event. Looking forward to our next challenge!

05.01.2022 You don't need a new year to make a change... you just need a Monday! Tomorrow is the first Monday of September and the first Monday of Spring. What better time to set some goals and hit the reset button.

05.01.2022 For the last couple months I have been making soup for my meal prep which I have after work when I get home from a day with clients and need something nutritious and easy to eat and for my body to digest. I eat my main meal at lunch so I only need something to fill the void. This week with the slight rise in temperature and the fact that I am bored with soup I prepped some salad bowls for when I get home. This was so easy to do, took a few minutes and you can put any veggies ...in there that you love. I throw in cherry tomatoes, capsicum, mushroom, olives, cucumber and then fill the remaining space with baby spinach. Also pop in a little bit of balsamic dressing to add a zing to my salad. Each night I grab out one and if I want I can add extra protein with a tin of salmon/tuna or an egg or anything else that you enjoy. What are your meal prep tip or a hack that you love?

Most years I get to support at least one mumma to be, this year I have been gifted with 3 mummas! Each of them with their own unique situation and journey. Some first time mummas and some doing it for the second or third time. Exercise during pregnancy has such an important r...ole to play. Exercise during pregnancy can offer an expectant mother both physical and emotional benefits. Physical activity may also help manage some symptoms of pregnancy and make you feel better, knowing you’re doing something good for yourself and your baby. Some of the benefits of regular exercise throughout your pregnancy include: enjoyment increased energy improved fitness reduced back and pelvic pain decreased risk of pregnancy complications such as pre-eclampsia and pregnancy-induced hypertension preparation for the physical demands of labour fewer complications in delivery faster recuperation after labour prevention and management of urinary incontinence improved posture improved circulation weight control stress relief reduced risk of anxiety and depression improved sleep and management of insomnia increased ability to cope with the physical demands of motherhood.
