15.01.2022 Hi All At this time of year, heading in to the holiday season, I think of the people in our community who don't have what they might need. I have organised a BENEFIT CONCERT in support of Colville Place who provide a place for youths aged 12-15 to live who otherwise might not have a safe home. ... As well as the concert to raise funds, I have put a call out to our community to donate quality gifts that can form part of a gift bag for each of the kids. Items such as bathroom products, clothing, headphones, hair products, art and craft supplies and books. The concert will be on WEDNESDAY 18 DECEMBER (7pm start) at the MAC (Moonah Arts Centre) and feature selected artists and singers that I mentor and from TVA. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased below. Quality donations can come to The Voice Academy at the Salamanca Arts Centre or be delivered to the concert. As part of the concert, we are including an ensemble to sing some beautiful pieces. I will be holding free workshops for these on December 7 and 14th 9-10.30am. All welcome. Music Provided. 12.01.2022 Dear lovelies, I have made the transition to online teaching from home. It has been wonderful to connect with my singers and songwriters, entertaining to see artists in their pjs, to meet family pets, and to get to know everyone even more so from seeing inside homes and creative spaces. This is my space. Orlando the cat occasionally makes an appearance. There are cups of tea aplenty. It is warm. ... Hopefully not too long until we are back in the Salamanca Arts studio but until then, let’s make the most of our time. I’ve recorded a series of warm up piano tracks for students that will arrive hand in hand with instructions for each exercise. Please email me if you would like these to practice to from home.
