25.01.2022 A Little Change In Our Opening Hours. For these cooler months we will now be CLOSED on Mondays. We will be OPEN from 11.30am Tuesday - Friday & 5pm - Late on Saturdays.... Thank you for your continued support during these times.

24.01.2022 We Will Be Open THIS THURSDAY!! From 11.30am. Our kitchen will be open ALL DAY to allow for people to dine with us within restrictions. We will be able to have 10 people inside & 10 people outside - we strongly encourage bookings. Our menus will be available via QR code on each table so there is no need to touch menus! We will be cleaning between each customer, therefor we will be allocating 10 minutes between each table booking. ... We cannot wait to see you!

23.01.2022 WAKEFIELD HOTEL - RESPONSE TO COVID-19 Just here to give a little note on our changes within the pub to make sure we are keeping our customers & staff as safe & healthy as possible, during this time. To try to stay open, with healthy people serving you, for as long as possible the following has been put in place:... - Regular cleaning of all surfaces (all bar surfaces, table tops, chairs, door handles, etc) using disinfectant. - Regular cleaning using disinfectant of all EFTPOS machines, till screens, menus, beer taps, salt & pepper shakers, etc. - Careful adherence to all current health warnings regarding any potential COVID-19 symptoms exhibited by our staff. - Where possible we encourage our customers to avoid using cash, to minimise the passing of bacteria from hand to hand. - If any of our customers would prefer to avoid dining in, we are happy to offer any of our menu times takeaway.
