QUESTION: Will vintage Seiko watches (the sleeper watch) become collectable or valuable in the future? @arnekrix... ANSWER: Our Ask the watchmaker is more for any technical questions you might have about watches. Collector demand largely dictates the market for vintage watches. We’ve noticed this from our own experience in collecting vintage Seiko watches, especially the sleeper watches. The Tuna divers, mono button chronograph, the 6139 Pogue have shown to be highly collectable. There are still many underrated sleeper Seiko watches out there that are worth collecting. You never know, your children or grand children might appreciate your sleeper watches one day!
