21.01.2022 WHAT ISTWC The Water Cleanser is passive technology which restores the natural balance in aquatic ecosystems by providing a favorable habitat for natural beneficial bacteria. This is achieved through the provision of carbon elements infused in a wax block, containing millions of microscopic capillaries of the size that act as a protective home for all beneficial bacteria. This... also creates ideal conditions for the proliferation of bacterial species Bacillus to an extent where the colonies form a microbial mat. The natural populations of Bacillus are able to reset the biological balance which in turn converts phosphorus into forms which become available for other beneficial organisms to consume, naturally lowering phosphate levels, whilst suppressing detrimental species such as E.coli and Cyanobacteria. THESCIENCEOF TWC The Water Cleanser activates a natural doubling time in native Bacillus Spp. Under laboratory conditions one Bacillus bacteria becomes 8000 in 10 hours. With this natural doubling time, one bacterium becomes 8 million in 10 hours. This then naturally allows more enzyme production to cope with the excess nutrient load. During the natural production of ammonia in overloaded nutrient systems, causes massive oxygen depletion through the natural bacterial process leading to eutrophication of your waterways. Bacillus bacteria make ammonia more efficiently using an anaerobic process in an aerobic environment. This then allows the limited oxygen supply to go to the nitrogen cycle bacteria to complete the good water cycle making available nitrate which is then consumed by good micro-algae, diatoms and wetlands. This natural competition within a waterway's food chain naturally lowers Cyanobacteria levels (blue green algae). Natural oils within a eutrophic waterway system gradually increase to levels that create high surface tension. High surface tension decreases oxygen penetration through atmospheric diffusion. Bacillus convert oils through to amino acids, converting them through to energy for beneficial microorganisms. This in turn lowers the surface tension of the waterway, allowing increased oxygen levels to penetrate through atmospheric diffusion. This increase in oxygen then goes to the beneficial bacteria which then can complete the nutrient cycle. Natural oils also become a secondary energy reserve for Cyanobacteria. This high energy food reserve Is absorbed into their cellular structure. Its removal from the waterway eliminates one of the key survival mechanisms for Cyanobacteria. Once the cycle of Cyanobacteria has been broken the whole aquatic ecosystem is able to regenerate. Nutrient loads to lakes and rivers can be greatly reduced by combining the use of The Water Cleanser with the implementation of best management practices. 10.01.2022 Some words from a long term user of the water cleanser, thanks Jane. In 2016 my English niece and visited Blue Lagoon Pearl Farm near Denham. Having a frequentl...y algae infested pond at home, I was particularly fascinated by the ecologically safe product they had developed to combat algae in the shallow waters where the oyster nets are kept and immediately bought some to bring home to Perth. Ive been using the product ever since. I do still have a part bottle of Algaefix (same one I had in 2016!) but I only use it about once a year in spring or early summer when the string algae blooms.
