16.01.2022 Hello, New Year! As 2020 finally comes to a close, it's time to celebrate with a champagne and some great food. But firstly The Watershed Kitchen’s Team would like to thank you our loyal and long time patrons as well as all new patrons, that have supported us through 2020 and especially since re-opening after being closed for 10 straight weeks due to Covid 19. We could not have gone through this difficult year without your ongoing support, your kind words and your encouragem...ents. We are pretty confident that we are not alone when we say we are glad to wave goodbye to 2020. This annus horribilis brought us so many disruptions and confronted restaurants in ways no playbook ever prepared us for. 2020 taught us the new normal which includes but not limited to not only be wait staff or restaurant managers but more like architects and organise chairs and tables in order to leave 1.5m between each group bookings (we think that we are mastering this part now, lol!), using so many litres of hand sanitizer each week, clean door handles 25 times (or more) per day, making sure everyone check-ins etc. If we would have been told this 12 months ago, we would not have believed it. These procedures are now part of our every day routines. We are currently experiencing a set back due to Covid19 outbreaks, but we know we can go through it because of you, our amazing supportive patrons. Thank you to our outstanding, reliable staff that are keeping up to date with the ever-changing rules and regulations of Covid19, that come to work every day with a smile and are just happy to serve you knowing that coming to work carries a personal safety risk. Thank you to our family and friends that assisted us with our mid-year renovations and your outgoing support. Thank you for being there for us.
