16.01.2022 Use your photographer for all they are worth. We’re there to help you get the best photos, and this means we’re there to help you with planning your wedding, whether that is timing, locations, other elements to consider including sun, clouds, shade etc. Your photographer is usually the first person you book too, so ask them for some trusted vendor recommendations. In some cases you’ll have almost a year to get to know your photographer, so do exactly that, get to know them, this will help SO MUCH on the day when they are by your side taking your photo.. they’ll feel like a mate instead of a creep with a camera. 14.01.2022 HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY TO US! And by us, we mean the person behind the two eyes reading this post, you’re all a part of our exciting, treasured community. We’ve packed this year to the brim with Table Talks, our first couple facing event ‘The Catalina Wedding Mixer’, hours and hours of co-working and collaborating, heck we even had a Social Co wedding! There were events with amazing guest speakers, photo shoots, meeting with clients, and ah that global pandemic that knocked the... wedding industry for six. We’re proud to see that The Social Co has grown in to what we envisioned. A community space for our wedding family to feel inspired, learn, support each other, collaborate, and above all else - always feel welcome within our doors. 13.01.2022 Sarah Loves Love Life Celebrancy recently booked the meeting room out all day to meet with four of her couples. We are pumped that this is what she thought of her time at The Social Co: Absolutely cannot recommend The Wedding Social Co ENOUGH. As a celebrant, we often work in isolation holed up on our living room floor writing scripts and thinking of incredible ways to stay motivated as well as writing a script that is "being in the moment" when in reality you're wondering w...hat snacks are in the fridge or if I should put a load of washing on before logging into LIFELINK. So goodness me, I was pumped when I booked in a day for some dedicated "Admin/ meet and greets" with couples. I think in 10 months of me being a celebrant, I've never been that productive. I had the tunes cranking, cup of tea in one hand and the most beauitful space set up ready for me to punch out my much needed paper work! Thanks again, see you in a few weeks!

No amount of experience means you know everything there is to know, so we’re always learning from each other. But what has been most heartwarming to see is business supporting business.... Whether it’s sharing bookings when a date is full, teaming up on a gig for more experience, referrals to couples, having each other’s backs when something goes wrong, or buying the product our vendors are selling... A seat at the Social Co. is less about the seat but the opportunity to grow, learn, and improve, and have a bloody good time doing it.
