24.01.2022 MINDFULNESS a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique. . . .One of my favourite mindfulness techniques is the 5 sense exercise (aka 54321 exercise) which I hope you too can use as a helpful tool to relax or get through difficult moments.... . The 5 Senses Exercise: . 1. Notice 5 things you see in the room. 2. Notice 4 things you can feel (my feet on the floor or the air in my nose) 3. Notice 3 things you hear right now (traffic outside) 4. Notice 2 things you can smell right now (if its more enjoyable bring essential oils into the practice to smell) 5. Notice 1 thing you can taste (a sip of a drink, gum, etc) -sometimes I change this last step for Think of one good thing about yourself. . The main aim of this exercise is to put you in a mindful state quite quickly and feel more relaxed. Try giving this exercise a go this week, and let me know what you think! . . @cloudbones

21.01.2022 DONT DIM TO FIT IN How are you dimming your light in order to fit in? Dont dim your light to accommodate someone elses smallness or opinion of you. . .... The Universe is expanding and you are part of the Universe, so expanding is part of your nature. If someone makes you want to retract, notice, and slowly back away; they are not for you and you are not for them. Better yet, find it within yourself to expand and shine your light anyway. Flowers dont open and close according to who is walking by. They open and show their beauty regardless. If others dont want to be around you, or you make them uncomfortable, its because you are shining light on the fact that they are dimming to fit in. Keep your light on anyway..and shine bright, beautiful!

17.01.2022 Dont be hard on yourself if you are feeling anxious or sad or worried. It is ok to have bad days. There is always rain and there is always, sunshine and we need both. Emotions is just energy in motion and these emotions come and go. Dont suppress them, just notice them, and know that only your behaviour to these emotions shapes your destiny, regardless of your thoughts. If like me, you have struggled or are currently struggling with anxiety, mindfulness could help you, as well. You are not your thoughts, beliefs, and feelings. You dont need to try so hard to control them; you just need to accept them and come into the present moment so you can control what you do.

16.01.2022 How are you moving your body each day? If working out carries a negative vibe for you, try not to think of it that way! Moving your body not only improves mood, but also helps combat anxiety and depression, brain health and much more. .... Not all movement needs to be huffing and puffing to reep the benefits. Below are some suggestions of ways to move your body. . Dance Stretch Walk Garden Play with your kids Enjoy the outside . I have to admit when the gyms closed and it meant that I could no longer do my weekly yoga classes I was a bit out of sorts. But knowing how good I feel when I move my body in ANY way motivated me to try some new things.... I have been going for longer walks with the dog, spending more time outdoors, and adopted some new virtual exercise practices - There really are some amazing resources online out there. One in particular that I love is @yoga_with_kassandra yoga classes on YouTube. She is running a 30 Day Morning Yoga Challenge called the Morning Yoga Movement at the moment and they are shorter classes so very achievable. By focusing on your goal as movement rather than working out, you can find ways to incorporate motion into your daily life in a way that feels good. 16.01.2022 Sometimes you need to break free from what is weighing you down! . -Is it the people you are surrounding yourself with? -A family member? -Your job?... -What you do on the weekends? - Or maybe your thoughts and what you think about yourself. Id like you to really have a think about what is holding you back in life and preventing you from being you best self. Tell yourself I release what is weighing me down and not serving me. In turn I open myself up to new possibilities and then really take action! Im not saying it wont be hard, but if you take little steps every day you will see a big difference. See more

07.01.2022 Dance with Life. Do something to raise your energy This was todays beautiful oracle card by @rebeccathoughts that I picked and it is such a beautiful one. . Life is always moving. If you resist this ever changing flow you will become stagnant and you will fall out of flow with the universe. One of the best ways to shift your energy, frequency and vibration is to put on some music and dance along with it! .....If you are not into that then some other things that you can... do to quickly raise your vibration are: - Taking some deep breaths. The extra oxygen will energize you, calm you and help you connect to universal energy. - Move your body by going for a walk or exercising. Anything that gets your blood pumping and your endorphins flowing. - Meditate. Meditation will help ground you and bring you back to the present moment and in turn shift your energy. - Practice gratitude. Gratitude offers a great way to feel happier and raise your vibration daily. - Use uplifting essential oils. Citrusy Oils such as lemon, wild organic, lemongrass, lime, grapefruit, tangerine etc are amazing. Being kind automatically raises your vibration. - Stretch. Any time we sit in one position for a long time, we begin to stiffen up and slow down our energy flow. Some of us have so many broken pieces that all it will take to break us down is a little bump. We have the great privilege of treating one another with kindness, with gentleness, with care.... 01.01.2022 I know Ive been a bit MIA lately! I have been working on a few things in the background which will be coming to light this year! 2019 was such a busy year and the year of big changes! It was the year that I decided to become a Wellness Coach which was a massive shift in what I was currently doing. 2020 has me bubbling with excitement with what is to come, and I cant wait to show you what I have been working on! . With each new year comes growth and learnt lessons and I lo...ve to always reflect on this at the start of a new year and write it down in my diary. Reflecting on the year is a great way of being able to move forward and give you motivation to take action to create the life you want. Here are some writing prompts . What was your biggest take-away for 2019? ......... Mine was trusting my gut ALWAYS! Do you have a goal for 2020? Think about what you want to do more of this year...write that down.............................. My goal for the year is to make choices that are in alignment with my values and passions. and also letting go of things that are draining my energy and do not serve me. . What is your word for the year? ....................... My word for the year is ACCEPTANCE. Learning to accept myself and embrace my qualities, uniqueness and authentic self is a non-negotiable for 2020 . #youdoyou
