24.01.2022 Exciting news. The Wild Colonial Company is moving to the MAAS store at the Powerhouse Museum to bring gorgeous Australian gifts to the attention of a much wider audience. Setting up this afternoon so do come on down to MAAS at 500 Harris St in Ultimo, take in the Collette Dinnigan exhibition and then come to the MAAS store and buy some gorgeous Collette Dinnigan stationery, made by TWCC, and browse a host of other beautiful and original treats.

After a long period of silence, I am delighted to announce that The Wild Colonial Company is going through yet another transformation, from small retail gift shop, to enticing new corner cafe. Yes, TWCC is becoming The Butcherbird Cafe, based at 74 Palace St, Petersham and will be opening very soon. Fabulous food, all made on the premises in our brand new kitchen, great coffee and the warmth of a community meeting place. For those of you who live in Sydney, it will be a pleasure to see you, so please do pop in.

09.01.2022 Christmas certainly has come to Petersham, which has been exciting and the shop is most definitely showing some gaps. But we have a few gorgeous swan vases left in cream, pink and duck egg, the third delivery of reversible aprons has been selling strongly, but we still have a handful left and a couple of the very popular dog and cat cushions await you. We will open on the morning of Christmas Eve for a couple of hours to help with lost last minute panic presents, so don't hesitate to let me know if there is anything that you would like me to hold for you. 01.01.2022 More excitement this week with the publication of a new book, The Everlasting Stars: Colour your own Australian zodiac. Working with Andrea Smith Illustration and her beautiful art work, we have joined the colouring in book craze with a large format paperback book, featuring native Australian animals, birds, bush essences and flowers. High quality paper, a die-cut and embossed cover and large flaps, it really is a special book. I do hope that you enjoy it
