18.01.2022 All booked up! I can't believe 2020 is almost over. What a crazy and hectic year this has been. I kind of can't wait for it to be over. For me, this year has been one of the hardest of my life. But not for the reasons you might think. This year, I became a military wife, I lost my best furbaby friend, got a new puppy, and it has also been the busiest my business has ever been.... I'm proud/excited to say that I am now fully booked for 2020. I have so many projects to finish before the end of the year, but I'm looking forward to a break! But this year is not over yet though and there are a lot of new challenges to come!! I'll be sharing some huge news soon! See more

17.01.2022 Do you feel like you're not doing enough? It's 5pm, I close my laptop for the day and have a sinking feeling that I just didn't get enough done. My diary is open to today's date and there are 3 things still left unchecked. I sigh. I guess I'll do them tomorrow. Does this sound familiar or is it just me? I recently read "How to get over the feeling that you're never doing enough" by Katy Cowan, and here are a few tips that might just help.... Write a to-do list that's realistic. Don't just brain dump everything you have to do. That will just lead to overwhelm. It's good to have a masterlist, but for each day just write down 1 big job and few small ones. When you feel like you should have done more, maybe it's just that thing you've been procrastinating on. Write out a plan of attack for the next day, starting with that job first! Get off social media! Stop the comparison trap. If you're feeling particularly down about your productivity, looking at what others have achieved will not help. Everyone is on their own path and you might just need some time alone to do some deep work. Celebrate every achievement. Instead of dwelling on the things you didn't get done today, think about all the things you did get done! 15.01.2022 Is it the right time to hire a graphic designer? Here are a few reasons it might be: 1 Your logo doesn't feel like you - it's kind of pretty, but it doesn't really showcase what you're all about and definitely isn't attracting the clients you want. 2 Your website feels dated and ugly, and it's a huge pain to update. Plus it doesn't work on mobile and is super hard for your potential clients/customers to use. It's so hard to be objective and hold yourself back from putting everything you love into one design ... I think most of you know how hard it is to design something for yourself. You're plagued with indecision, and you're not sure it looks how you want it to. You've spent hours working on this one design and can't work out why it doesn't work.
