24.01.2022 Here's why we ONLY photograph adventure elopements (and adventure couples sessions, engagements and vow renewals)!! https://youtu.be/_or1k0rSKrU

22.01.2022 Our mini-sessions are booked out! On a whim over the weekend I decided to open up a couple of evenings of mini-sessions and I'm stoked you guys loved the idea! If you were hoping to book in a session but missed out, let me know! I've got a couple of people who missed out so I mayyyy open up another couple evenings ... On a side note, here's Lauren and Shane celebrating their 1 year wedding anniversary (photoshoots aren't just for engagements and weddings!). P.S. We don't do mini-sessions regularly so if you're interested get in touch now! #thewildpair #sydneyweddingphotographer #sydneyelopementphotographer #nswweddingphotographer #nswelopementphotographer #nswparks #gariebeach #australianweddingphotographer #australianelopementphotographer #minisessions #royalnationalpark #explorensw #exploremoreoutdoors #exploreaustralia #australianbeach #coupleswhoadventure #couplescollective

22.01.2022 This is me and here are all of the hats I wear: I'm an elopement photographer - I love to take photos of couples in love on the day they choose to commit the rest of their lives to each other. I get super stoked when we're taking photos in epic landscapes. I'm a health worker - by day I work in delivering healthy lifestyle programs for older adults for NSW Health. ... I'm a business owner - I run The Wild Pair and am very quickly learning how much is involved in running and growing a small business. Thank you to all of our supporters I'm a wife - I've loved James for almost 11 years and have been his wife for almost 1 year. I still can't believe we're finally married I'm a runner (and occasional triathlete) - in between my two jobs, I run. I run on road and on trails. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I hate it. When I'm on track, I also swim and cycle and race in the occasional long distance triathlon. I'm an adventure seeker - there's not enough hours in the day and not enough days in the week, but when I find a spare few hours I like to get outside and hike, explore and adventure. This year, my adventure goal is to learn to rock climb. My brother is already learning so I have to catch up! This is me and I can't wait to meet you! Please reach out to me for a chat at anytime - my DMs are always open haha! xx #thewildpair #intropost #sydneyelopementphotographer #sydneyweddingphotographer #kosciuszkonationalpark #snowymountains #nswweddingphotographer #nswelopementphotographer #australianweddingphotographer #australianelopementphotographer #adventuerelopementphotographer #outdoorphotography #adventurephotography #girlswhohike #explorensw #exploreaustralia #bluemountainsweddingphotographer #bluemountainsphotographer

17.01.2022 The practicalities of eloping the in #kosciuszkonationalpark (aka the Snowy Mountains) I've just come back from a few days in the Snowy Mountains and it reminded just how beautiful and magical the whole region is. If you're looking for somewhere adventurous with a stunning backdrop, then you can't go past #Kosciusko Here's a few things to consider if you chose to elope there:... 1. Think about the season. Of course the Mountains looks very different in winter than it does in summer. In winter (and in the shoulder seasons) you're likely to have snow and in summer the whole mountain range is full of the most stunning wild flowers 2. Contact the park rangers when you're initially planning your elopement to find out where you can and can't elope, and to apply for a permit. Consider how you're going to access your spot and whether you can drive or if you need to hike or catch a chair lift. 3. Be flexible with your day and be prepared to move things around. The weather can be variable up in the mountains so you may have to shift your timeline around. But that is the beauty of eloping - you have the freedom to shift things around without worrying about sticking to a super tight schedule! 4. Opt for at least a full day of photography coverage. The Snowy Mountains vast and there is lots of places to explore, so plan a couple of adventures and have your whole elopement experience documented. 5. Chat to us for location, activity and accommodation recommendations! Now question would you elope in the mountains in the SUMMER or WINTER?

10.01.2022 How to elope in the Blue Mountains ft. a couple more sneak peaks from Emma and Jamie's elopement 1. Pick a photographer and celebrant who you gel with and lock in your date. keep in mind your celebrant has some paperwork that needs to be submitted at least 1 month before your elopement. 2. Brainstorm epic locations and choose your favourite spot (we've got a list of options to help you out!).... 3. Submit your permit application to National Parks or Council (depending on your location), with plenty of notice. We can also help with this! 4. Brainstorm any extra activities you want to do on your elopement day and develop your timeline with your photographer and celebrant. 5. Book any extra activities and vendors (e.g. accommodation, private chef, hair and make up). 6. Chat to your photographer and celebrant about a contingency plan incase mother nature is out in full force! 7. The week before, check in with all vendors to make sure everyone is ready to go. 8. Get bloody excited because it's time to ELOPE! Remember, all you really need to elope in the Mountains is your photographer, celebrant and a permit. Simple! If you want more detail on planning your elopement, follow the link in our bio to download your FREE Elopement Planning Guide! And of course, hit save on this post so you can come back to it later
