21.01.2022 KITCHEN Swipe for POST DEMO & BEFORE We weren’t planning on ripping out completely and just touching up but once we got to demoing, it all kept coming.. Thankful we did though, cheers to water regression and plus, made it easier with the install of new electrics. ... Materials used: -Diy Gold Sink & Brass Kitchen Mixer - @facebookmarketplace -Benchtop in Ekbacken - @ikea_australia (off cut used for push out bench) -Cupboards (Hubby made from white pre-coated pine for framing and mdf 9mm for draws and faces in 6 mm.) -Soft close drawer runners & push drawer runners, Matte Square Gold Handles, DIY Tiles, Sikaflex, Gold Hinges and magnet latches all from @bunnings -Fridge Intergration kit - @ebayau -DIY jute handles I made, handle from our local hardware store in Paddington QLD -Brushed Brass Arch Handles - @loandcointeriors Wooden Arch Handles - made by Lock from leftover material. Biggest takeaways -Maximise storage space, get creative and plan drawers around sink and other fixtures. ‘Push out’ style bench spaces if you can! -Think about how you use the kitchen for the best Sink placement. The easiest place isn’t always the most practical. -Keep it light & don’t cut corners. Check the flooring, walls and ensure perfect. Check floors and walls are level and secure, reinforce if needed. Account for floor underlay to keep level when building. Leave the frame of kitchen alone if its perfectly fine you can pretty it up.

09.01.2022 Baskets galore. Organisation AND aesthetics!? Yeah, very us. We decided to bring this one along as she folded down and made the perfect laundry basket. A little washing machine came with the van and lets just say, washing days are gonna be adorable.
