Now that you have your wipers we wanted to share a few simple tips (yet often neglected) to help you get the most from your wipers: 1) Maintain a clean windscreen... The purpose of your wiper blades is to effectively remove water from your windscreen, not to clean it. Dirt, grime, bird droppings and tree sap can quickly lead to a poor and noisy wipe. Protect your wipers - Keep your windscreen clean! 2) Avoid using your wiper blades on a dry windscreen Make sure your windscreen wiper fluid reservoir is always topped up. Running the system when empty will damage your blades and can burn out the pump, which can be expensive to fix. 3) Regularly clean your rubber blades Clean wiper blades regularly with a sponge using warm soapy water.
