24.01.2022 Apologies for the delay in this month’s reading.I’m a human, sitting in the eclipse energy with you all and should follow my own advice of slow and steady.They say expect the unexpected and that has definitely been my experience.Anyway!It’s about to get wild, but let’s stay focused on what we can manage. I refuse to be all doom and gloom. I’m a Libran after all! Use this full moon to release expectations you have on you and those around you.Have you be...ing holding others accountable where you wouldn’t hold yourself? The big questions we need to be asking ourselves at this time is How can I elevate myself without stepping on others around me? And How can I conduct myself with integrity during this eclipse period? Coping strategies: * Act with integrity.Your words, your thoughts and your feelings have true power.BE INTENTIONAL with everything. * Expect the unexpected.Breathe before you react. Hold space for yourself before you react.Hold space for the other party before you react. * Be gentle - miscommunication is rife and nobody (and I mean nobody!) knows the full story. The change (and conflict) is coming whether you like it or not, be intentional, accountable and gentle with your response to what arises. It’s also important that change and conflict are not necessarily bad things as they can be excellent catalysts for elevation. Bergamot has been present in my dreams and meditations in the lead up to this eclipse, a reminder to us all to keep consistent with our spiritual hygiene in these inconsistent times.It also will assist us in processing any negative and heavy emotions that come up in this eclipse period.It’s the royal oil that will keep you in your rightful place. 24.01.2022 The beautiful thing about witchcraft is that there are no set rules to follow- you can make your own path. An example of this is the up and coming full moon. The ‘blue’ moon actually falls on the 1st of November in Australia. So technically our blue moon is on the 30th of November. Not long after the 1st I will start putting in place my celebrations and rituals for Beltane instead of Halloween or Samhain. But even though I follow the Southern Hemisphere wheel of the year, th...ere is no reason why you can’t follow the more popular Northern wheel if you feel drawn to it as you may have links to that part of the world. For me, I feel a very deep connection to the hemisphere I was born in and it only makes sense for me to follow its seasons. So take what you will from my musings. If some information resonates with you then that’s great but if you disagree with something, that’s ok too. Witchcraft is all about tapping into your intuition so use that in your craft as it’s the most important gift you can have See more
24.01.2022 , On the Capricorn new moon, at exactly 11:11, I moved into my beautiful new workspace @thelightboxtorquay New premises for TWA has been on my to do list for a while now. Especially through some of the darkest times of 2020 that work/life balance idea was beginning to seem like a myth. I was getting a strong pull to move my workspace out of the home it was beginning to take over. An urge to exercise boundaries and keep business separate from m...y quality time with my family was something I was striving for in 2021. 17.01.2022 There is a lot of excitement surrounding this blue moon as it coincides with the northern hemisphere’s Halloween. A blue moon is the name given to a second full moon in a calendar month. You may have heard it used in phrase before and that’s because blue moons are quite rare. This blue moon however is a micro moon which means that the moon is at its furthest from the earth and may appear smaller than the usual full moon. Micro moons can be known to af...fect your mood so using this time to ground yourself would be very beneficial. You may find your second chance to release this month will fall flat so instead take this time to give gratitude and work on existing projects. This is not the time for new projects, spell work or setting intentions. Us Southern Hemisphere witches did our celebrations for Halloween (Samhain) back in May so this turn of the wheel brings us to Beltane- the fertility festival. The accurate date for Beltane this year is the 8th of November. For those wanting to harness the Beltane magick I would recommend holding off until this date as this full moon’s chaotic vibe won’t align with the energy of the sabbat. So leave the witchyness, dust off your best spooky costume and get involved in your local Halloween celebrations. There’s absolutely no harm in joining in the fun! See more

16.01.2022 I’ve had so many beautiful followers pop up in my DM’s asking how I was coping through this eclipse so I thought I’d share how I spent my full moon night. I had a cleansing bath using @naturamaga bath milk ... I spent a couple of hours outside in the night air soaking up the energy that was a vibe for me I journaled and reflected on the intentions I made when the moon was new I burned A LOT of stuff (#doublearies) I poured my heart out to the moon and many tears were shed I danced and sang to my favourite playlist I did three card spreads. One from @ethony for the Sag full moon and two fairy stars I did not put my crystals out under this lunation. Even though I was feeling it, I know my gems have their own unique frequency and generally crystals don’t like eclipses. I also had an influx of sales through the website last night (thank you ) so this moon definitely piqued some witchy interest! So tell me, how did you enjoy the eclipse? 13.01.2022 Does anybody else feel like this whole year has been one big eclipse season? In 2020 we have a total of 6 eclipses. This is rare as we normally only have around 4 per year. Eclipses are known for their chaotic energy. Emotions and tensions can run high and spell work is usually pushed aside as outcomes can be unpredictable. This is a time to get introspective and delve within. Set time aside for meditation, journaling, devotion and indulge i...n self care rituals. If you have placements in Gemini or Sagittarius this full moon may be effecting you more. If you’re feeling erratic try and keep yourself grounded by practising exercises like taking a salt bath or standing barefoot on the earth. Use crystals such as smoky quartz, black tourmaline and amethyst, and essential oils of frankincense and lavender. 02.01.2022 Before every presale I get super nervous. Usually it’s just excited tension and I can brush it off but this time I was more anxious than usual. Maybe it was the intense Scorpio energy affecting me, maybe it was the crazy 2020 vibe finally catching up. Whatever it was- last week sucked! Yesterday when I woke up I had a sense of feeling that it’s out of my hands. I released the built up tension and a calm washed over me. At 10am when my dream team at @thezephyrlab_ couldn’t eve...n access my website to make it live because of high traffic flow, I started to panic. But then I realised what this meant... there were so many people eager to get my potions that they’d created a traffic jam! Almost ten minutes late the sale went live and after that I couldn’t keep up with the amount of orders coming through. Needless to say I was on cloud nine for the rest of the day! I know I mentioned it in my stories last night but I just need to say thank you. Thank you for having faith in my magick, thank you for supporting my dream and thank you for your patience as I know it’s a long wait between these preorders. It’s been a crappy year with me not being able to work my day job. But in a way that’s been a blessing as I’ve been able to give TWA my full attention. 01.01.2022 The rule of three this can be applied to many things throughout life but in witchcraft there is a big divide on this subject. Basically it states that whatever energy you put out into the universe, be it good or bad, will return to you threefold. I’m not a follower of this belief but it’s a pretty popular concept among witches and I’ve seen a lot of debate around this lately. Do you live by the rule of three? What are your thoughts?
01.01.2022 It’s looking like us Victorians will be having our lockdown extended. With two little ones this means my days in the studio are very limited.
