20.01.2022 Tune in for my interview on mental health & addiction

15.01.2022 YOU'RE NOT ANXIOUS, YOU'RE JUST HUNGRY Anxiety is a complex disease. It is not caused by a specific nutritional deficiency, or chemical imbalance such as low serotonin. It can be a genetic predisposition (in which case all family members will suffer). It can be an issue with the gut-brain axis. It can be a byproduct of poor coping skills and it can definitely be caused by underlying metabolic issues: consistent dieting which leads to thyroid damage and blood sugar imbalance.... Misdiagnosed hypothyroidism, or hashimotos, presents as anxiety. If our limbic system is already hyper sensitive to stress, having thyroid problems will increase your catecholamines leading to more stress on an already weak system. Hypoglycaemia and insulin resistance also lead to feelings of anxiety through the same mechanism of influencing our stress response. These are both driven by poor nutrition, either too little or the wrong type. So the next time you feel overwhelmed and anxious, ask yourself: Have I actually eaten today? Do I just simply need adequate calories to make myself feel better? Is my anxiety potentially just a thyroid issue? What coping skills have I actioned to help me feel less anxious? Seeing as there are so many different mechanisms for anxiety, it is perplexing to me that the sick care system has only two forms of treatment: pills and therapists. If you are dealing with anxiety, be sure to rule out metabolic issues before progressing to synthetic chemicals or expensive talk sessions. #thewomenseries

07.01.2022 Do you know what the biggest health issue is in the world? Childhood Trauma. It’s influence over a vast array of health outcomes is devastating, accruing a cost which amounts to $6.5billion annually. ... Currently there are 60,000 children in protective services, with a disproportionate amount of those children being indigenous (22,000). This data reflects only the most vulnerable, and neglects the ongoing victims who never voice their trauma, continue to live within it or who fall through the cracks. Childhood trauma can reform itself in adulthood as: Depression Bipolar Anxiety Homelessness Suicidal Thoughts Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Alcoholism Sexualisation Drug Use Obesity Smoking Stroke/Heart Complications Gastro-Intestinal Issues Autoimmune Disorders Neuropathy Socio-Economic Status: Welfare, Incarceration. PTSD + more. All of these health issues are our bodies way of dealing with the many degrees of trauma. Our bodies store it, and reincarnate it as they please. The main causes of childhood trauma: Domestic Violence Broken Families Racism Poverty Sexual Assault & Incest Emotional Abuse Lack of health care access Lack of education access Poor nutrition, sleep & lifestyle Seeking asylum If you have been dealing with a health issue, which no one can explain, diving deeper into the psycho-spiritual arena of healing may be just the right medicine. If you are in a position to positively shape a young persons life, I beg you to do so. Your impact will either propel them on a trajectory of good health or leave them stuck in the monopoly of the health care system. #thewomenseries @ Love

05.01.2022 Training on your period is one of the worst things to come out of feminism. The fact that most women do train while menstruating, down plays everything we try to fight for. It suggests that periods should be silenced and not interrupt your daily exertion, but what if, in the bid to be equal, we have lost our truest sense of the feminine? - I’m sure (like many of you) pushing through and going hard, while also bleeding, has been a normal practice in your life. I know it ha...s been for me. Despite understanding the importance of natural cycles and hormonal fluctuations I continued to train & work long hours while also swapping out pads every 2-3 hours. In fact, for many years I viewed it as an inconvenience, an intruder on my body composition goals and something that impacted my ability to meet deadlines. - What we are not taught is that your menstrual blood is a reflection of you. It acts as a cleanser, nutrient profiler & inflammation detector. It is offered to us, by us, as a tool which tells us to slow down and regenerate. - Are you listening to your body? Are you pausing while bleeding? Unless you are a professional female athlete who can not choose which day their sport lands on, there is absolutely no reason to train or go hard while your bleeding. This is the time to nourish & restore. - Perhaps you keep stepping foot into the gym because your ego is highly attached to the person that the world has told you to be? But just because someone says you can, doesn’t mean you should. - Enjoy the next iso-bleed with a warm bed, good book and deep conversations. Save the training for another day sis. - #thewomenseries See more

04.01.2022 Who knew that the strength of our neck could impact our brain, gut and immune system? - The vagus nerve aka the ‘trauma nerve’ is what connects our brain to our gut, helping to feed each organ with information. - The vagus nerve has 80% of its fibres directed upwards to the brain, suggesting that for every 1 communication from the brain downwards, there are 9 communications from the gut upwards.... This means that whatever is going on in our GI tract heavily impacts our brain and every aspect of it (thoughts, moods, behaviour, cognition, memory etc). - Both our gut and brain are marinating in immune cells, the brains are known as glial cells. These bad boys help protect us from viruses, bacteria, parasites and fungi. The easiest way to start destroying your immune cells is to consume a nutrient void diet, expose yourself to inflammation through sleep deprivation, drug use, alcohol, gluten, sugar and dairy and to put your head through a concussion . - The strength of your cervical spine can impact your lymphatic system, thus rendering your vagus nerve short of its invaluable role of health communicator. Crow neck? Mouth breather? These common day positions slowly congest our cervical and impact the beautiful flow of our lymphatic. - Singing, gurgling, humming and yawning are all techniques that help to improve vagal tone which is correlated with our capacity to handle stress. The stronger it is, the better position your immune system, brain and gut will be in. - #thewomenseries @ Port Melbourne, Victoria

04.01.2022 A Safe and Effective Nutritional and Oxidative COVID Treatment Just Published - The Brownstein Protocol Dear COVID Concerned World, I am happy to inform you tha...t, today, a research paper on COVID was published showing high efficacy in reducing morbidity and mortality using just 4 nutrients and oxidation therapy. I am honored to have participated in this work, which will become known as the Brownstein Protocol for COVID. In short, 107 symptomatic cases meeting CDC criteria, with 27 positive tests out of 34 tests performed. They were treated simply and inexpensively. Only one short hospitalization needed after treatment commenced, and no deaths. The journal thought this so compelling that it featured an accompanying editorial on the meaning of this work [link below]. I have noticed a few minor defects in the print and links, which came over in the online version, and which I will draw the journal’s attention to. This should give great hope to those living in fear of what we believe to be an easily treatable condition. I have treated 3 similar cases (one test positive) with ozone only, and have seen instant resolution of most symptoms. Please help this go viral. I hope it will turn heads in government and get decision makers to consider a few hundred thousand for research in this field compared to billions on vaccines. https://cf5e727d-d02d-4d71-89ff-9fe2d3ad957f.filesusr.com/ https://cf5e727d-d02d-4d71-89ff-9fe2d3ad957f.filesusr.com/
