23.01.2022 The saying, shop local is a very important saying. Shopping local keeps little businesses like this one going, puts food on the table and clothes on the backs of the owners. It’s an old saying, but a very important one. Why am I posting this, you ask? Because the owner of this absolutely beautiful little girl you see before you moved to Darwin earlier this year. I was sad to see her go, as both she and the gorgeous Nina are lovely, and Nina was only new to my shed and had ...some pretty bad anxiety issues I wanted to keep working on. To my utter shock and delight, Nina’s owner advised me she would be returning to Katherine on a regular basis, and would be bringing Nina with her to continue being groomed by me. Fast forward to now, and Nina is a different dog! She has been groomed by me several times throughout the year, and has grown in confidence with each visit. She now runs in to see me, doesn’t shake on the table, and doesn’t stress when separated from her friend who comes in with her. Thank you to her beautiful owner for shopping local, and entrusting me to work with Nina and build her confidence. 20.01.2022 Hi everyone, just a quick note to apologise for the delay in responding to the numerous texts, voicemails and messages to my business page. I am horribly unwell (no, not with COVID), and am responding intermittently between resting. Thank you all for your understanding.

18.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS I have been sitting on this for a little while, and am so happy to finally share it with you: The Woofa Wash is finally expanding its opening hours. I am now open Monday - Wednesday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (morning drop off 8:00 am, afternoon drop off 12:30 pm). Tuesday’s and Thursday’s I am still open from 12:30 pm at this stage, as I am currently studying those mornings (stay tuned, this certificate will be put to heavy use with The Woofa ...Wash upon completion ), and Saturday’s are still as per normal. It couldn’t come at a better time, as bookings are fast filling for Christmas! With regards to Christmas, I will be closed from Monday 21 December 2020, and reopening Monday 4 January 2021. If you would like your dog groomed before the holidays, please book now, as appointments are filling very quickly. One last thing: I have had a number of enquiries as to whether mobile services will resume. Unfortunately, mobile services will not be resuming for the foreseeable future. This was not an easy decision to make, however, I need to do the right thing by my body, and mobile is simply too much for my physical capacity. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may impose; however, I want to do this for the long haul, and to do that I need to take care of my body. I hope you can all understand that.
