23.01.2022 We have missed you! The clean-up continues after last Saturday nights fire. This has been devastating for all of us, but we will bounce back! We have had plenty of people around the shed cleaning up and assessing the damage this week. We are determined to work hard to get the woolshed up and running as soon as possible. The woolshed will remain closed for the rest of the week with builders beginning repairs to the damage from Monday. We will let you know expected re-opening timeframes from next week. 20.01.2022 New Artist at The Woolshed Pop by and see the amazing work from local artist George Kurtelov. George was born and grew up in Macedonia, his art has taken him all over Europe and the world! After George moved to Australia he was inspired by the Australian landscape which is reflected in many of his paintings. The recent bushfires have devastated our nation, this has inspired George to paint from an empathetic point of view but also donate a portion of his sales to the Port Macquarie Koala Sanctuary. Come in and see this work, on display until 6th March. #thatwoolshed #saltoftheearth

18.01.2022 The Woolshed has partnered with @lighthouse_online and @convoyofhopeau to fill hampers for people in our community who are doing it tough. We will be collecting essential food and household items on Friday 22nd from 1-3pm and on Sunday 24th from 11am -1pm. These hampers will be delivered to our community next week. This evening at approximately 7:30pm emergency services were called to the Woolshed as it appeared that an electrical fire caused damage to a limited section of the building. . The building was vacant at the time and no persons were injured in any way. ... . All trade and gatherings will be closed tomorrow as the building is assessed. Our first exhibition is local artist George Kurtelov who is a contemporary landscape artist. Orginally from Macedonia he migrated to Australia and fell in love with the Australian landscape.
