22.01.2022 I've just uploaded the 10th episode of the Hot Mess Goddess podcast, sitting here reflecting on how powerful this really is. I'd convinced myself that I could only communicate well in writing. Or fully scripted like the news bulletins I wrote and read out. So starting a podcast was definitely about shifting that perception... and combining that personal mission with my love of sharing other's stories and life hacks. They've been far from perfect (thankfully I have an amazing ...editor so if you're looking for one hit me up!) But the conversations have been impactful and in divine timing for those who've needed to hear them. This 10th one with Katie Wyatt is especially empowering. 21.01.2022 Celebrating 12 months since I wrote this, now realising that discovering who the fuck I am is more like BEING whoever the fuck I truly want to be Celebrating... six months since I officially decided I was never going back to work for someone else The day I took that leap is the day I stopped searching for my purpose outside of myself and accepted that writing - what I love to do more than anything - IS my purpose, and it’s good enough. I also signed up for business mentoring because I knew my creative, rebellious, anti systems & structure personality needed these things to grow my business and my life to the extent where I could truly make a difference The first couple of months I spent more time thinking about branding, logos, defining who my soul mate client is, procrastinating, working out what sort of writing I don’t want to do, more procrastinating, designing packages, scrapping them, designing a website, Fb page, freaking out, getting disheartened about everything I don’t know, and thankfully, some writing for actual real life clients in in there too Working for radio, newspapers, and businesses was a steep learning curve but I always knew I was capable. When I registered my business name I suddenly doubted everything! Being a big believer in synchronicity, I impulsively committed to the mentoring with no clue of what the hell I was in for. I had no idea their plans for me went way deeper than systems and procedures, and that to grow a business the work starts with me, within. I was great at defining my soul mate client in fine detail, but who the fuck was I? In the past six months I’ve had to strip myself bare. I resisted. I shed layers & tears & lifetimes of conditioning and dug my heels in even more. And I know I’m not done yet. But I’m not alone. Because I’ve attracted the sort of women as mentors, friends, and clients who I can have these conversations with and they get it. They’re doing it alongside me. So I want you to know that if you’re struggling with anything, reach out. To me, to other women in the same position as you, and to those who’ve already achieved the life you’re dreaming of, because every single one of them will get you, and most will happily share resources, deep conversation, or tacos & tequila shots. Probably all of that and more. You’ve got this. We’ve got this. Here’s to making a difference, our own way. Sally xo

14.01.2022 What are you attracting with your words? You know they have a vibration or a frequency that sends a message out to the world. So this is a reminder to check in a couple of times a day this week to see if you've been complaining, bitching, gossiping, manipulating or even bullying (which can be so subtle you may not even think you're doing it)... If you have been, love on yourself for recognising the behaviour (beating yourself is never helpful) and shift your language. Improve your words, improve your life xo
12.01.2022 I see so many posts from business owners declaring those who pick on their spelling or grammar can fuck right off because that’s not what’s important about their message. I get it. It’s not the end of the world. Some people don’t give a shit & that’s who they’re targeting. But here’s the thing. ... If you post stuff all over the place without a second thought, or don’t bother to see if it even makes sense, where else are you doing that in your business and your life? It actually says a hell of a lot. I receive so many emails from businesses promoting their services with great calls to action, but whoever penned it doesn’t know the difference between then and than. Words that change the meaning of the entire sentence! They’re, their and there is another major one. The odd mistake is understandable & it won’t stop us buying. But if you show time and again that you can’t be fucked or just don’t care, you’re turning away great clients even if you pretend you don’t want them anyway. There are plenty of entrepreneurs with incredible gifts who can’t spell or put two words together and don’t want to learn... & that’s exactly why proofreaders, editors and copywriters exist. Outsource it like you do everything else that doesn’t light you up! If you’re not at that stage, take 5 minutes to self edit. Walk away for a few minutes (make a cuppa. Have a pee. Ground. Shake it off to your fave song) then reread it with fresh eyes, do a quick spell check and you’re good to go. That extra care you have for those reading your words goes a long way, generally and energetically. Much Love Sally xo

11.01.2022 Im a Personal development junkie. And what I’ve come to realise is that it’s all just theory unless I actually step out & put it into practice I have all the books, attended the seminars, watched the webinars, enrolled in the courses and felt so high vibe... then life got in the way, I lost my confidence, & my brain got sidetracked. Again.... It's one thing to invest in yourself and your growth, but it's a whole different story to actually embody those learnings, to live and breathe them through your values, expression and daily practices This year has been about the embodiment. With only 11 days until my new year begins, there’s a few things still to be activated, but I’m so excited about what’s on the way! The next phase is guided by the Gods & Goddesses and I’m a fuck yes for the aligned adventure! Full embodiment at a whole new level Of course there’ll always be more books and courses and retreats, they bring me so much joy, and I’ll actually be writing and editing and creating and facilitating them a shit load more too

05.01.2022 I used to admire potential. I love what I see in others, even when they don’t yet see it themselves. But I've been learning a lot about grit and resilience, and that's what I admire more than just potential. I wasted my potential for years and it didn't serve anyone! The ability to keep on keeping on despite what circumstances or setbacks we come up against... That's where the GIFT is. It's where character is built. ... It's the choice between bitter or better, and potential doesn’t come into it. Add in some grace and gratitude and woah! (there’s real potential in that!) It's a single choice we make in every single moment that counts. A choice to rise beyond our limitations.

Yesterday I breathed through the little flutters, the pounding in my chest, the dry throat. I nurtured the voice in my head with kindness. And I sat with intention that whatever happened was for the highest good of myself and all who received, however it turned out And I actually spoke about the powerful vibration and frequency of words for 20 whole minutes to an audience of almost 600 women! Here’s one powerful tool I shared that can truly transform your life... Choose a word you’d love to embody in your life. (One word for each day of the week or work week is great) Write it on a sticky note & have it somewhere you’ll see it throughout your day. To really embody it, take a moment to actually feel that word (like abundance or gratitude) and acknowledge where in your life it already exists. Even if it’s as simple as being grateful for your nutritious lunch, for 5 minutes of peace, for a friend who made you laugh) Do this at least 5 times, each day, with each word, and your life will begin to transform as those words become part of your reality
