25.01.2022 The Workshop Coffee shop is now closed until January 6th. We thank all our valued customers for their support in 2019 and wish each and everyone a super fun filled Christmas followed by a safe and Healthy New Year. Take care and see you all in a few weeks.

25.01.2022 I will be donating $1 per coffee sold from the coffee trailer tomorrow, Thursday and Friday to Little Allys fundraiser. Sending loads of well wishes to the family.

24.01.2022 Over the school holidays while the shop is still closed, we are offering takeaway coffees from the trailer out the front of the Workshop. Granddaughters Tori, with help from Meg, have offered to brave the freezing mornings to get the coffee flowing again from 7am til 11am. Please respect the 1:5 m Covid rule to keep everyone safe. Some snacks will be available but no hot food at this stage. Days arent confirmed so watch out for the trailer and coffee flag Thank you

23.01.2022 Well what a crazy year we are all experiencing. Covid19 has taken control of our lives with all the restrictions, masks and closure of so many businesses, causing so much uncertainty worldwide. As the restrictions are slowly easing and the option of reopening the Coffee shop gets closer, It has made me wonder if I really want to open full time again. Covid has made me realise just how precious our freedom and health has been. This is why I have decided to put the coffee s...hop on the Market. I had seen the need for a coffee shop in Gunbower for many years before I was able to make it happen 5 1/2 years ago. With the support of a huge customer base and the help of great staff to share this fun journey called work, we have succeeded in creating a much needed meeting place that the community appreciates. I loved working with all my daughters, and like most of the customers, miss them terribly since they moved on to follow their dreams. I have loved every minute of it and will miss it terribly if/when it does change hands, until then I will continue in the coffee trailer until the restrictions are clearer and hopefully we are able to safely welcome you all back into the shop, before Christmas. 22.01.2022 Sadly the new hospitality rulings coming into force tonight are the costly, confusing reasons why the Coffee shop will remain closed. I’m not prepared to open until I can offer the service that ALL my customers are entitled to, without putting anyones health at risk, being fined or having to treat fellow humans like they are leper’s. I will continue serving takeaways from the coffee trailer for as long as needed. Congratulations to other hospitality business that have been able to take on the extra workload and conquer these rules, you are doing an amazing job. Thank you

Bookings are necessary due to covid spacial restrictions. 14.01.2022 Hi all...Sorry to inform all the keen and eager local gardeners that Rosey wont be back in Gunbower next Thursday with her plants. Someone reported her for breaking the Covid rules and putting peoples health at risk and she feels terrible. Concerns are totally understandable in these uncertain times but tables were spaced out accordingly, sanitizer was available and people were aware of the 1:5m rules. A council permit was not required as she is selling from a retail business and DHS COVID small business granted permission as it was offering a local service without the risk of travelling to busier places out of the area. Good news is that Rosey has promised to come back when concerns and restrictions are eased. Thank you Rosey

02.01.2022 Well today I handed over the keys for the Workshop coffee shop to Brendan and Shaun Betts from Echuca. It’s been almost 6 years since we opened the doors and what a fun, enjoyable workplace we have created. Our success was due to the tremendous support we received from locals and the many friendly strangers, tradies, truckies, and bus drivers who called in daily for their coffees. We have met so many wonderful people that we will miss seeing and chatting with often. I feel... blessed to have shared this experience with my girls, Amie, Ellie & Hollie until they moved on with their lives. My coffee, milk and food suppliers and my loyal staff, Di, Brohden, De, Tahli, Maddie, Tori, customers and family members that helped out when we were busy, Darren for my vege patch, and Simon for the delicious Sunday breakfasts, I will always appreciate and value your help and friendship. I wish Brendan and Shaun every success as they bring new and exciting food, decor and ideas to the Workshop. I will be serving coffee out the front in the trailer tomorrow while the boys and Tori set up the shop and prepare food for opening on Thursday. Good luck and I can’t wait to sample your delicious food. Again I thank you one and all. Sue

02.01.2022 Good morning lovely humans out there. Dont freak out if you dont see me on the service road.. . To make my life easier, the coffee trailer is now set up closer to the shop in a semi permanent place. This saves me taking it home and setting up and packing up each morning. Thank you Sue

01.01.2022 Thank you to my wonderful loyal customers who have been waiting patiently for us to open again. Im sorry but while there are still restrictions and the threat of corona still floating around we are not prepared to open the shop just yet and may remain closed perhaps until September. Please stay patient a little longer as we are missing you as much as you may be missing us..or is it our great coffee and food. Thank you and stay safe.
