17.01.2022 Weve had some enquiries lately about using castings to top dress lawns. Just before rain is a good time to do this. You do need to be mindful about the UV rays killing the microbes in the castings, and if the castings dry out, it will go rock hard & be impossible to re-wet. So only put it out as close to raining as possible. Lightly sprinkle it onto the lawn & then rake it so that it is spread thinly. Then if it doesnt rain, or it doesn't rain much, you will need to water ...it in by hand. Ideally, we recommend using our WormWiz (liquid plant tonic) to give lawns a boost, as it is easy to apply. Check our list of stockists for Castings & WormWiz. https://www.wormshed.com.au/our-products/stockists
